Being another one of those people who doesn't know when it's time to quit and to simply ride off into sunset, disgraced former CBS ‘newsman’ and sterling example of what’s considered as being journalistic excellence in this country, Dan Rather has now issued what he calls a warning of sorts to the dozens of Facebook fans of his show on axs.tv. His warning? Well, it’s that Mitt Romney and his cohorts could conceivably steal Ohio, particularly since the state is now controlled by those evil Republicans.
"Keep in mind: The whole upper tier of Ohio state government is in the hands of the GOP now," Rather opined in a Facebook post this morning. "In very close voting they have the power to influence what votes are counted and how." And then as part of his effort to dredge up some old favorites of crackpot liberals everywhere, Rather warned, "Remember Ohio, Bush v. Kerry in 2004 and Florida, Bush v. Gore in 2000." I can never remember and instance where Republicans can be said to have stolen an election. Democrats, on the other hand…well enough said.
