“RAT BOY” WAXMAN TO FINALLY RETIRE…

Well it would seem that Henry Waxman, whose primary job, before being able to finally convince folks in a California congressional district to send him off to Congress, was as an exhibit in a traveling carnival’s freakshow, is now finally retiring from the House of Representatives after 40 long years. That he was able to serve for that long kinda makes you wonder about the mental state of those folks who saw fit to keep re-electing this creep.

But anyway, at least now he’s finally leaving, and all I have to say is good riddance to this clown who was one of the more liberal members of Congress. The guy was nothing short of a complete crackpot who favored such issues as climate change and touted all of the supposed benefits of Obamacare. And he was quite successful in his efforts to increase the size, scope and power of the federal government during his tenure, in fact more so than many others.

Over his too long career, Waxman demonstrated himself to be one of the most progressive/communist screwballs to ever come along. And I really can’t that I’m sorry to see him go, but I am sad that I still have to wait until the end of this congressional session. "Forty years have gone by very quickly. I have a great deal of satisfaction in our legislative accomplishments. There’s obviously more to be done," Waxman said in an interview.

Well I’ll tell ya what, forty years may have gone by too quickly for him, but it hasn’t gone by nearly quickly enough for those of us who have been forced to watch as this brain-dead creep and his many Democrat compatriots busied themselves in an effort to completely destroy our country. And I’m sure Waxman, being the socialist that he is, is very proud of the fact that he was able to have played a part in the destruction of America.

And rumor now has it that it’s none other than that resident slut of the Democrat Party, Sandra Fluke, who is said to be contemplating running for the seat that Waxman will vacate and none-too-soon. And I’m quite sure that she’ll have little trouble convincing the Democrats who reside in that particular district that she possesses all of the necessary, and even somewhat unique, qualifications. After all, she’s probably slept with a good many of them.

So anyway, while I suppose old Henry will be sorely missed by those who, like him, hate this country and want to turn it into even more of a haven for the perpetual moochers among us, those of us who still love it and resent what assholes like him have been able to accomplish through their continuing efforts to remake America, his leaving could not have come soon enough. I’m glad he’s leaving, and I hope his retirement is a very short one.

HENRY WAXMAN, "SCANDAL, WHAT SCANDAL? I DON'T SEE NO SCANDAL!"

Just when you thought you’ve heard every crackpot rationale imaginable when it comes to attempting to justify all of the false claims regarding this silly global warming nonsense, along comes none other than Henry Waxman, dipstick Democrat Representative from the land of the fruits, the nuts and the flakes. Henry, who has now been around so long as to have acquired the position of ranking Democrat on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said that Department of Energy subsidies, such as the failed $535-million loan guarantee to solar company Solyndra, were “saving” people from “fires, droughts and floods” that are caused by global warming. “I want to put this in perspective Dr. Chu,” Henry told Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Thursday at a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing on the Solyndra failure. “You’ve been trying to move our nation toward a clean energy economy. And that’s essential to protect American families from fires and droughts and floods and other extreme weather that climate change will bring.” Just one thing wrong with that entire notion, there’s no such thing as “climate change,” at least to the level that Henry and others in his lunatic political party would have us believe. And it is far from being proven that man has played, or continues to play, any role whatsoever in whatever climate change "may" be taking place.

So in what can be described as being typical Democrat fashion, Henry has now alleged that Republicans are doing nothing more than to make up a scandal for no other purpose than to aid their “allies” in the coal and oil industries and block green energy subsidies. According to Henry, taking his queue from our stellar president, the Republicans evidently, want dirtier air as well as dirtier water. Why that might be, no one has yet been able to explain. Anyway, old Henry droned on saying, “My Republican colleagues on this committee have been trying to block these efforts [green subsidies] every step of the way. Republicans in Congress and their allies in the coal and oil industry oppose efforts to put a price on carbon pollution. They oppose funding research into new clean energy technologies. They oppose investment in clean energy companies which – like Solyndra – would produce new technologies.” Have you ever heard anything more idiotic? But ugly old Henry was far from finished, as he went on to say that the GOP was on the wrong side of history, applauding Chu and arguing that green subsidies like Solyndra were on the right side of history. “I think you’re on the right side of history [and] the Republicans are on the wrong side and I think what they’re doing is leading us astray,” he said. “My message to my colleagues is to stop dancing on Solyndra’s grave."

Demonstrating a level of hypocrisy that is unique among Democrats, Henry went on to further accuse Republicans of doing nothing more than to “manufacture” a scandal where none exists, going so far as to say that Congress, instead of looking for excuses not to, should be approving even more green energy subsidies exactly like those given to Solyndra. Solyndra, by some strange coincidence, is based in Henry’s home state of California, and, as I'm sure most of us remember, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September. The company was at least $1-Billion debt and has laid off 1,100 employees. The $535-million loan guarantee, because the company failed, will be paid for now with taxpayer, that would be you and me, money. “My message to my colleagues is to stop dancing on Solyndra’s grave,” said our buddy Henry. “You’re trying to manufacture a scandal where there is none. This is a distraction from the work that we should be doing.” “What Congress should be doing on energy policy is to encourage development of new energy sources so that we don’t have to rely on oil and coal and nuclear,” he said. Henry attempted to exonerate Chu, saying he had done “nothing wrong.” I guess what I can’t figure out is how Henry doesn’t see this as, in any way, being a scandal, other than, of course, for the fact that corrupt Democrats, like birds of a feather, always flock together.

The House hearing, during which Secretary Chu answered questions for over five hours, focused on the "scandal" surrounding the $535-million in green energy loan guarantees the government made to Solyndra, a California-based solar panel manufacturer. Hundreds of e-mails have surfaced in recent months showing that the White House pressured the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve the loan to Solyndra, after it had been approved by the Department of Energy. Solyndra was held out as being the gold standard of Barry “Almighty’s” focus on subsidizing green technologies as a way of stimulating the economy. Recently, e-mails have surfaced showing that "someone" within the Administration had pressured Solyndra to delay planned layoffs until after the 2010 elections. Also, records show that Solyndra was allowed to refinance its original loans, even thought DOE officials knew the firm was in financial distress. One of the terms of that restructuring was that government loans would be made subordinate to those made by outside investors. This meant that if Solyndra went bankrupt – as it eventually did – taxpayers would not be first in line to receive repayment. Henry, however, claimed that this was not a big deal, saying it was merely “unfortunate” that taxpayers had lost $535-million on a failed clean energy gambit. “We have lost the money, it’s unfortunate, but there’s no scandal there,” said Henry. “There’s nothing there.” Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

Unfortunate? How is it that this cannot be considered as being a scandal of near epic proportions? Can anyone possibly imagine the howling that would have taken place, and all the to the next election, with all manner of accusations coming from this imbecile Waxman and his fellow Democrats, if any of this was occurring under a Republican president? This is now the perverted Liberal mentality that we the American people are now being forced to contend with. The arrogance the hypocrisy is emblematic of this White House, this president and the current make up of the Senate. As well as of the modern Democrat Party. That this amount of money can be considered as being trivial, poultry or insignificant by this imbecilic little troll, should paint the picture, much better that I ever could, that these corrupt Democrats including our pathetic president have far outlived what little usefulness they may at one time have had. Henry blatant attempt to do nothing more than to gloss over the shenanigans involved with this entire deal is a disgrace. He must think all American are as stupid as those who vote for Democrat candidates like himself. Old Henry's right out front, "Nothing to see here folks, move along, move along." In his effort to so desperately portray this entire Solyndra "scandal" as being anything but, he only succeeded in making himself at best merely foolish and at worst complicit.

MORE FROM OUR FAVORITE MORON, HENRY WAXMAN...

That ever reliable loony left-winger, Henry "Make A Train Take A Dirt Road" Waxman, the ugliest guy in Congress, is once again seeing the evil Bush/Cheney boogeymen lurking in nearly every shadow. Rep. Henry Waxman, a Democrat, of course, and from California no less, is making the claim that the Republicans’ current energy legislation is the same as what the Bush administration offered up way back when, and that it was those failed policies that contributed to high gas prices. Spewing his standard level of mind-numbing drivel at a hearing of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Friday, Waxman said, “We’ve seen this roadmap before.” Adding, “This is a recycled version of the plan developed by the secretive Bush-Cheney Energy Task Force and pushed through Congress by Republicans while they were in office.” Waxman muttered something about how it was during the eight years that Bush was in office, that his administration “pushed oil and gas drilling, onshore and offshore” and “expedited permits and weakened environmental protections.” “They tried to greenwash proposals for drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge by implying congressional appropriators could use royalty revenues to support renewable energy,” Waxman said. Greenwash? Henry is just so clever, don't ya think? NOT! “Today we are sending nearly a billion dollars a day overseas for foreign oil,” he said. “We use 25 percent of the world’s oil, but we only have 2 percent of the world’s oil reserves. We’ve worked to increase our domestic crude oil production by nearly 300,000 barrels per day. “And yet,” Waxman said, “gas prices remain high.” Am I missing something here, just how stupid does old Henry think we are? Does he expect us to ignore the very obvious fact that is has been the scumbags Democrats who have worked so hard to kill any and all domestic oil production? Someone needs to clue this moron in here! Most us realize that the major contributing factor to those high gas prices he refers to, is our serious lack of drilling pretty much anywhere here at home. But I doubt old Henry wants to hear any of that.

The hearing focused on the piece of legislation that Henry went on his rant about. Called “The American Energy Initiative – Roadmap for America’s Energy Future,” or H.R. 909, it is a comprehensive energy bill drafted by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who sits on the House Ways and Means Committee and who testified at the hearing. The Republican bill would increase oil exploration and development of oil and natural gas resources on the U.S. outer continental shelf and require the Department of Interior to meet leasing timelines. It also would repeal the ban on drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The bill would amend the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982 to eliminate the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management and calls for radiological material to be stored in the Yucca Mountain nuclear repository in Nevada, unless the Nuclear Regulatory Commission “determines it is not a suitable location.” The bill would also prohibit the president from “blocking or hindering spent nuclear fuel recycling activities.” In addition, the legislation calls for the acceleration of plans for future nuclear energy plants. The bill proposes to put new federal leases and royalty revenues into a trust fund, which would be available for “alternative energy” sources through a competitive “reverse auction” process – a process Nunes said would reward the best and most effective clean-energy products. “The American people are looking to us for leadership,” Nunes said in his prepared testimony. “They know intuitively that we are running out of time and they are worried about the futures of our country and our children. “They have given us the opportunity to offer solutions to this and other big problems,” he said, adding that it was “time to act.” Here, here! I think it pretty safe to assume that this plan is far too rational and makes far too much sense to expect a significant number of Democrats, if any, to sign on. Frankly, I'd be surprised if there were any Democrats in Congress with enough guts to do so.

Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-Ky.), chairman of the committee’s Subcommittee on Energy and Power, called the legislation “a comprehensive plan to break this logjam and enhance both the amount and variety of domestic energy production.”  But Waxman strenuously disagreed, sounding much like that same old broken record and harkening back to the bygone days of the Bush administration two-and-a-half years after Barack Hussein Obama took office and less than one year after the Republicans regained power in the House of Representatives. “H.R. 909’s roadmap doesn’t lead to the future,” Waxman insisted. “It leads to the past.” Waxman added that the plan’s problem was the same as it had always been and would lead to “huge amounts of carbon pollution that will drive uncontrolled climate change.” Someone needs to clue this lunatic in, man made climate change has pretty much been shown to be an issue that was completely made up by those on the left. It's become their religion. And so, Democrats remain the ones busying themselves with stymieing all efforts to do what is necessary to bring down the price of gas and to make us more energy independent. Their idiocy continues to be based on nothing more than the imbecilic, and thoroughly disproven, theory that any supposed global warming that there may be, is man made. Meanwhile it is a fact that since "Mr. Hope and Change" first took office, there has been nothing put forward that can be said to have even remotely resembled a "comprehensive" energy plan. His only plan thus far seems to have been one that allows gas prices go through the roof in his effort to force people to drive less. What kind of an insane energy policy is that? I mean, short of earning him some browny points with the environmental wacko groups, this sort of energy policy accomplishes nothing more than to cause Americans to waste even more of what little disposable income they have left today. Waxman and his many liberal cohorts are determined to ruin this country and it is up to every freedom loving American to prevent them from accomplishing their goal. The first item on our things to do list has got to be the ridding ourselves of Barack Hussein Obama. He is the albatross around our collective neck. He is the single worst thing to happen to this country since Woodrow Wilson or perhaps FDR. Who says history does not repeat itself?
