If you’ve spent any amount of time listening to Democrats, the cure-all for ALL gun violence is really a pretty simply one. That we simply need stricter gun laws and stricter enforcement of those laws. And if you intend on voting for ‘Creepy Joe’ then I’m sure you’re quite comfortable with the fact that he has decided that ‘Be-Toe’ O’Rourke will be the guy in charge of all his policies when it comes to gun control.
There’s just one little problem with the Democrats’ claim that stricter gun laws will solve everything. And to see just how obvious that is, one need look no further than ‘The Windy City,’ home of the strictest gun laws in the country and where over our recent long weekend at least 51 people were shot, seven fatally, in the city run by Democrat Lori Lightfoot, who blames all of her city’s gun violence on the president.
So it was reported on Monday, September 7, that 40 people had been shot, six fatally, from Friday into Monday morning of Labor Day weekend in Lightfoot’s Chicago. By 10 pm on Monday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that at least 51 shooting victims—44 non-fatal and seven fatal—for the weekend. And it was ABC 7, in Chicago, that reported the total number of Labor Day weekend shooting victims as 54.
Unfortunately, it was an eight-year-old girl who was among Chicago’s Labor Day weekend fatalities. Even sadder it the fact that she was simply in a vehicle with her mother and two other adults on Monday just before 6 pm when someone in the vehicle behind them opened fire, shooting her, a 31-year-old man, and a 30-year-old woman, all in their backs. The eight-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
And it was a 21-year-old man who was also shot to death on Monday “in Stony Island Park on the South Side” and a 22-year-old man who was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle in Humboldt Park. But such is life these days in just about any big city controlled by the Democrat Party. And it’s these very same cities that also seem to serve as the model for what the Democrats wish to turn our entire country into.
And regarding the ‘non-fatal’ shootings, it was an incident on Sunday in Chicago’s South Shore that left four people on a sidewalk wounded when an SUV pulled up beside them and someone in the vehicle opened fire just before 6:30 pm. And just hours before, at approximately 1:40 pm, it was three other people who were injured during a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Gresham neighborhood. It’s a damn war zone.
Similar violence continued to play out over and over again during the entire weekend. At least 46 were shot in Mayor Lightfoot’s Chicago last Friday, August 28, 2020, into Sunday night, August 30, 2020. And yet this stellar Democrat mayor, of yet another Democrat city that hasn’t seen a Republican running things since 1931, is blaming everything on Republicans. And frankly, I’m not at all sure how that works.
And I ask you, what kind of person is it that seems to possess virtually zero interest when it comes to protecting those citizens for whose safety she is responsible, and who hates the police? What kind of person releases violent criminals without a bond, and protects the murderous scum? What kind of person says “no thanks” to the help offered by our president? But then when you vote Democrat this is what you get.
I often ask myself, are these buffoons really that inept or does their hatred of President Trump run so deep that they’re willing to destroy their cities and the lives of their own people in their attempt to do harm to the president’s reelection chances? All I know is even someone with half a brain can’t be happy living under these conditions run by the most radical mayors and governors of their state.
If there is any justice, Democrats will be forever banished, or at least until they can begin to act more responsibly, in all elections for the foreseeable future. They are deeply dishonest and hateful people, and they do not deserve to be anywhere near the levers of power. They have shown that by their words and actions that they are no longer worthy of our trust, and now is the time for them to be held accountable.
Perhaps this would be the perfect time to reflect and to give thanks for the great contributions Blacks have made to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their dedication to exceptional civic values, stable traditional families, parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture and their unflagging pride in maintaining exemplary clean, neat and orderly homes.
Property values are always boosted by the entry of Blacks into an area, thanks to the caring and sincere respect they show for these communities, and the examples of all that they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement by hard work and a self-reliant, can-do culture of integrity and honor. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation. You buying any of this?
And I can't quite recall at what point the rules of engagement changed in the black community. It happened a number of years ago. It used to be that if you were going to go to the trouble of shooting someone, there had to at least be an appropriate reason, of which there were many. Such things as turf wars, spontaneous insults followed by gunfire, interpersonal vendettas, and people shot in the act of a crime.
Now all that seems to have changed, and changed considerably. You get a gun, get together with a few homies in your ride, and go look for pigeons in the park to blow away. You don’t have to know the victim. Hell, you don’t even need a reason. They’re standing there occupying space. Is age of sex any consideration? Nope! Dropping an infant or a vagrant, all counts a point, just like bottles on a fence.
The American ‘ghetto culture’ expressly devalues human life. They kill each other over petty slights, and they don’t care what innocent person gets hurt in the process. No human life matters more than dishing out that deadly retribution for a dirty look. Guns just make it convenient. They’d be stabbing each other if every gun in the world disappeared tomorrow. Because that’s what the rules of the ghetto culture demand.
And I think we can all readily admit that we will be seeing flocks of flying pigs long before the Democrats will ever come to accept the fact that they, and they alone, are the ones responsible for the continuing inner city violence that is now occurring all across our nation. And it’s just as likely that we will never once hear them admit that stricter gun laws will never accomplish that which they claim to be seeking.
