Now we’re being told, by those in favor of taking
such action, that being in favor of impeaching the president is actually an act
of patriotism. But how is it patriotic
to scream impeachment before any charges have been levied by Congress? What it is, is idiotic. Every person in our
justice system up to and including the President gets the same presumption of
innocence, unless of course, you happen to be a Democrat trying to correct an
election that didn't go your way. Personally I'll take my chances with a President
who believes in the sovereignty of our nation, and her borders, over a bunch of
rabid ideologues who have yet to move beyond the last election.
Which brings me to nearly everyone’s favorite raving
lunatic, ‘Mad Maxine’ Waters, Democrat, from California, who seems unable to
get enough of calling for impeachment.
You see, it seems that ‘Mad Maxine’ recently sent out a series of Tweets
criticizing President Trump and calling on people to support his impeachment. It was in one Tweet that she said, “For the
faint of heart, who have been waiting for every ‘t’ to be crossed and every ‘i’
to be dotted, now is the time to demonstrate your patriotism. Support
impeachment!” ‘Mad Maxine’ must have a
much different definition of patriotism than the one found in your standard
Webster’s dictionary.
And in yet another Tweet, she said, “Trump, you have
screamed no collusion and no obstruction of justice so many times, trying to
influence others, that I think you really believe your own lies. Just stop it. No
honesty. No truth. No trust. No patriotism.”
And in still another Tweet she said, “Lying Trump, so you said you did
nothing to force security clearance for Kushner, huh?” Who do you think will believe that lie? Must
give you credit. You are the boldest, most daring liar I have ever heard of. A
pox on all your houses.” In another
Tweet she said: “What more do we need to know? Impeachment is the only answer.” So impeachment has now become the only
answer?
Now I’m not sure about anyone else, but that certainly
sounds eminently sensible to me. By all
means, let’s impeach the one President who, not since Ronald Reagan, has
implemented polices that have made possible a booming economy, while lowering
the unemployment rates for African Americans and other minorities while at the
same time improving wages AND keeping his campaign promises! These political hacks on the left scream
impeachment even before there is any evidence of wrongdoing by the President. In a world gone by this belligerent old shrew
would have been silenced by her own party for suggesting impeachment before any
crimes were even known.
This continuing impeachment insanity is, among other
things, one of the main reasons for the current state of hostility that now
seems to exist between the right and the left. It just seems that we’ve gotten to a point
where it’s become impossible to have any sort of a rational discussion
involving opposing views with anyone on the left. It’s become their way or the highway and if
you can’t bring yourself to agree with their position you’re a racist, a Nazi
or God knows what else. More and more of
those on the left are now showing their true colors, and appear to quite
willing to destroy all those who dare to disagree with them and at any cost, no
matter how extreme.
And as the Democrats become much more willing to
operate outside of the shadows once considered to be their preferred setting and
continue to show more and more of their true colors, we on the right must be
prepared to take the fight to them. Make no mistake, they mean war with no
holds barred and the same will be required by the President and those of us on
the right. The RINOs that we have in Congress have become next to useless and
might as well change the (letter) after their name, they are of no help and
even work to hinder what we all know must be done. Being moral also means
fighting wrongdoing, not wringing your hands. They disgust me.
And perhaps all those now screaming for the
impeachment of President Trump might be taken a bit more seriously, by more
people, if they had been screaming just as loudly during the Barry ‘O’ years
when there were truly impeachable offenses committed on nearly a daily basis. But instead what we had were Democrats like
‘Mad Maxine’ simply turning a blind eye because he who in all likelihood will
remain the single most corrupt individual to ever hold the office was both
black and a Democrat. Hypocrisy,
especially when so blatant, rarely results in convincing anyone to join your
argument when your argument seems to be more than a little one sided.
Finally, I have a difficult time understanding how
it is that a single election could be responsible for the complete mental breakdown
of an entire political party. Now I know
Democrats have long walked a very fine line between sanity and madness, but to
witness the likes of what we’ve seen taking place since the 2016 election does
strike me as being somewhat remarkable and more than a little
disconcerting. To hear people, like ‘Mad
Maxine’, who are in positions of power spewing the language that they have
been, and to still have people who are willing to vote for them is, to be
perfectly honest, a little frightening.
I never thought I’d hear such things.
