For those of you who maybe haven’t been paying all
that much attention the goings on during this primary season, at least on the
Democrat side, I thought I would take this opportunity to point something
out. Now just in case you haven’t noticed
it seems that Hitlery has now become pretty vocal in her continuing attacks on
her current Democrat rival for president, Bernie, for being, what she calls,
soft on guns. And though she has called
for greater gun control, Hitlery has yet to go as far as she did as first lady
when she pushed for a proposal that, at the time, she “personally” supported. That being a 25 percent sales tax on guns.
You see, it was in a video released earlier today by
‘Americans for Tax Reform’ which shows Hitlery nodding approvingly during
Senate testimony back on Sept. 30, 1993, when then Sen. Bill Bradley, a
Democrat, referred to gun owners and gun dealers as “purveyors of
violence.” And it was then that Bradley
asked Hitlery, who was then pushing a her “Hillarycare” health care plan, if
she would support a 25 percent sales tax for gun buyers and a $2,500 license
fee for gun dealers. To which Hitlery
responded, quite enthusiastically, “I’m all for it.” And she went on to say, “I am speaking
personally, but I feel very strongly about that.”
Now of course, speaking personally meant that she
was not speaking on behalf of husband, and then president, ‘Slick Willie’. And the Clinton White House responded
afterwards that the first lady was expressing her own opinion. The Washington
Post and The Associated Press were among the news outlets that reported on
Hitlery’s agreeability to a retail sales tax on guns. And today Hitlery’s campaign has not yet
chosen respond to inquiries being made by numerous sources about the release of
this video. Though Hitlery has not yet made an issue of a gun tax in the
current presidential campaign, she has advocated for stricter background check
rules.
Further, gun taxes have been an issue at the local
level as the city of Seattle passed a tax of $25 per gun, while the Northern
Marianas Islands passed a $1,000 per gun tax.
Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, warned that in
the backdrop of local taxes, this should be a concern about a Hitlery
presidency. Norquist said, “Hillary has
made it perfectly clear to the millions of gun owners in the United States: She
doesn’t like us, she doesn’t trust us and she wants us to go away.” He added, “The Second Amendment makes it
difficult to legally ban guns, but Hillary has led the way to explaining you
can achieve the same thing with high taxes.”
But look, I think it’s pretty safe to say that what
we’re talking about here, and what Hitlery mostly likely would favor, it really
not all that different from a poll tax and meant to limit your civil rights. It’s
not a tax to raise revenue, it’s a tax to control behavior and influence
society. What it would do is to increase the black market for weapons. Very few
criminals and thugs buy their guns from WalMart or the corner gun store. More often than not they’re purchased from
Bubba’s trunk and Bubba don’t bother with doing no background checks. Oh, and I’m thinking that Bubba ain’t gonna
be charging no sales tax neither. Just
sayin’.
And since the Far Left has abandoned any semblance
of moral standards for our society, the only way their core, amoral people, can
be controlled is by the rule of FORCE by a ‘Big Brother’ kind of government. Kinda reminds me of Shariah Law which is
necessary to control the uncivilized. If
you want your rights, you can keep your rights but we are going to tax those
rights to the point where you no longer want them…or can afford them. We, middle class, working class will be
priced out of homes, cars, various types of hobbies, this has been in progress
30-40 years since we begin shipping jobs out of the country.
And as a bit of reminder, back when ‘Slick Willie’
was president, he allowed a woefully ignorant Hitlery, to assume some
authority. First it was Health Care, a fiasco cost the un-washed American
taxpayers $13 million before the idea was finally scrapped. Then ‘Slick’ gave
Hitlery authority to selecting a female attorney general which was Zoe Baird or
Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw. Next she chose Janet Reno. ‘Slick’
has since described her selection as being “my worst mistake.” She gassed David Koresh and the Branch
Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in 85 of deaths of women and
children.
It was then that Bill allowed Hitlery to select a
Civil Rights Commission, Lani Guanier was selected. He resigned. Apparent a
rather slow learner ‘Slick’ next allowed
Hillary to make more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel
for Justice Department, (Hubbel went to prison), Vince Foster for the White
House staff,(someone killed him) and William Kennedy for the Treasury
Department. (forced to resign). Then, of
course, there was Travelgate debacle. First
Hitlery reported them to the FBI, then she had them fired only to then watch as
a jury acquitted them in what was less than 2 hours.
Then pitifully ignorant Hillary selected Craig
Livingstone for W.H. Security. Craig stole 900 FBI files (Clinton enemies
list). ‘Slick’ and Hitlery denied knowing Craig during Firegate investigation
of drug use in the White House. Hitlery avoided indictment for perjury and
obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not
recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times. And still she’s touted as being the first
lady by which all others are to be measured.
But how is it that in any place but maybe the ‘Twilight Zone’ Hitlery
could EVER be seriously considered for the position of president of the United
States.
Since first coming onto the scene Hitlery has never
once demonstrated she possesses neither the aptitude nor the demeanor, for
holding a position any more complicated than grocery bagger. From her days as a first lady, through her
time as a mediocre senator from New York and finally to her rather abysmal
performance as this nation’s top diplomat, the string of failures and amount of
carnage she has left behind over the decades would seem to be an automatic
disqualifier for ever again being able to hold public office. And yet, all of her disasters are actually
viewed, by those on the left, as being nothing short of resume enhancers. Go figure.
