ARE HISPANICS REALLY PAYING ATTENTION?

A BIT MORE PROOF THAT FURTHER EXPOSES OBAMA AS THE FRAUD THAT HE IS...

A funny thing happened on the way to Barry "Almighty‘s" deciding to grant Attorney General Eric Holder executive privilege regarding Fast and Furious documents. Because, apparently his decision to do so now, seems to be a bit at odds with his previous stance regarding the Bush administration’s use of the power. You see, when Barry appeared on Larry King’s show, on the Communist News Network (CNN), back in 2007, he essentially accused the Bush administration of “hiding behind executive privilege” after King asked him for his opinion on its utilization. “I think we will determine over the next several weeks how this administration (President Bush) responds to the very appropriate call by Patrick Leahy, the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, to have these individuals come in and testify," is what Barry said in 2007. My, how things seem to have changed in just 5 short years.

And in very typical Barry fashion he went on to add, “There‘s been a tendency on the part of this administration to try to hide behind executive privilege every time there’s something a little shaky that’s taken place. I think the administration would be best served by coming clean on this. There doesn’t seem to be any national security issues involved with the U.S. Attorney… There doesn’t same to be any justification for not offering up some clear, plausible rationale for why these U.S. Attorneys were targeted when by all assessments they were doing an outstanding job. He claimed, “I think the American people deserve to know what was going on.” Basically I would tend to agree with that statement. But why is what Barry saw as then being needed with Bush, for the same reason, why is it not needed now? What, we're just supposed to be able to trust him where we couldn't Bush?

And it taking things just a bit further, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) on Wednesday pointed out that Barry has claimed on any number of occasions to be an strong advocate of transparency and against invoking executive privilege without a good reason. It was during a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing Wednesday that Rep. Chaffetz quoted a number or previous instance where Barry "Almighty" had stated his position regarding his willingness to be totally transparent. First came in 2008 when Barry said, “Let me say as simply as I can, transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency. I will also hold myself as president to a new standard of openness…But the mere fact that you have the legal power to keep something secret does not mean you should always use it." Well that's interesting to hear, coming from Barry.

Other examples of Barry's obvious hypocrisy include a 2009 memo, “The government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure. because errors or failures might be revealed or because of speculative or abstract fears.” And it was in 2011 that we heard Barry say about Fast and Furious, “There may be a situation here in which a serious mistake was made and if that’s the case we will find out and hold someone accountable.” So once again we are made witness to the pure arrogance of this guy. We see a man, in the person of Barry "Almighty", who apparently is of the opinion that the same rules he would have applied to others, simply do not apply to him. But should we really be surprised by any of this? No, not really, after all, Barry has seen himself as being wel above the law since he first entered into public office. He's just so special.

***FLASH***FAST AND FURIOUS IS BUSH'S FAULT TOO!!...

I swear, Sheila Jackson Lee has got to be one of biggest imbeciles on the entire planet. And just when I think there's absolutely no way that she make herself look anymore like the hapless moron that we all know and love, she says something like this. She now claims, “This Fast and Furious debacle started under the Bush administration.” Can you believe it? Is there anything these pathetic Democrats will not try to pin on Bush? She went on to say, “And it is been evidenced by various reports that it started under the ATL office in Arizona unbeknownst to leadership in Washington DC, at least leadership that came in under the Obama administration in this instance, Eric Holder."

But any attempt by these slime-bag Democrats to pin the Fast and Furious operation on Bush, however, simply don’t stand. National Review’s Andrew McCarthy explains: Wide Receiver actually involved not gun-walking but controlled delivery. Unlike gun-walking, which seems (for good reason) to have been unheard of until Fast & Furious, controlled delivery is a very common law enforcement tactic.

To the contrary, Fast & Furious involved uncontrolled deliveries — of thousands of weapons. It was an utterly heedless program in which the feds allowed these guns to be sold to straw purchasers — often leaning on reluctant gun dealers to make the sales. The straw purchasers were not followed by close physical surveillance; they were freely permitted to bulk transfer the guns to, among others, Mexican drug gangs and other violent criminals — with no agents on hand to swoop in, make arrests, and grab the firearms. The inevitable result of this was that the guns have been used (and will continue to be used) in many crimes, including the murder of Brian Terry, a U.S. border patrol agent.

MIGHT THIS BE OBAMA'S WATERGATE?

'TEAM OBAMA' HURLS ULTIMATE INSULT AT ROMNEY...

In what has to be seen as being the ultimate insult yet hurled at Mitt Romney, by the Barry campaign, is the fact that it has now been confirmed that John Kerry, who I believe spent a very brief, yet personally rewarding time in Vietnam, has been recruited to play the part of Mitt Romney in mock debates ahead of the three presidential debates scheduled for October. The Washington Post first reported this 'news'. David Axelrod, Barry's chief strategist, informed the Post and described Kerry as being the "obvious choice." According to Axelerod, "There is no one that has more experience or understanding of the presidential debate process than John Kerry." He went on to say, "He's an expert debater who has a fundamental mastery of a wide range of issues, including Mitt Romney's Massachusetts." Let's face it, Kerry's got all the brain power of your average 25 watt light bulb and even less personality. He reminds me of an old bloodhound.

And yet, many political observers have noted the similarities between Kerry, the Democrat presidential nominee in 2004, and Romney. For instance, both men are extremely wealthy, however the stark difference between the two being, of course, that Romney worked for his money while Kerry married his. The rationale here is that Kerry is supposed to be intimately familiar with the record and rhetoric of the former Massachusetts governor and Senate candidate. He is also said to be a strong debater, with the Post noting that Kerry was supposedly a "star debater" while at Yale. Honestly, I fail to see the logic here. Kerry may be perceived as being some great debater, but he still didn't beat Bush, and Bush sucked as a debater. Romney, apparently, has not yet tapped a stand-in for Barry in his mock debates, but that shouldn't be all that difficult. I mean, all he really needs is to find some parrot trained to say the same idiotic crap over and over again.

"SLOW JOE" MAKES CLEAR WHAT THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT...

In what was in his own inimitable way, "Slow Joe" kinda summed up in this one speech just what this election is all about, making it quite clear on whose side he and Barry are very firmly on. He likes to preach about how Democrats are always on the side the little guy, how they are the ardent defenders of the middle class. But it's all nothing more than a load of crap, because what he really means to say is that Democrats are on the side of those middle class folks who belong to public service unions. The rest of us can go suck wind. These unions depend on Democrats as much as Democrats depend on unions. Therefore the priorities of these corrupt unions always take precedence over those of everyday Americans who, because of the policies that have been put into place, are struggling everyday just to make ends meet. And yet they are still forced to pay more in some form of tax to cover the costs of lavish union pay and benefits packages for these overpaid and under worked public employees.

Now I think it more than fair to say that many would agree that when it comes to outright brain power our stellar vice president, old "Slow Joe" Biden, comes up more than just a tad bit short. And judging by some recent comments by his son, 'Beau', the attorney general of Delaware, I'd say the nut doesn't fall very from from the tree. Beau, just last Saturday evening, tried to attack presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, but his intended punch missed the mark and ended up hitting North Carolina’s Democrat Gov. Bev Perdue instead. So when "Slow Joe" isn't out tipping the president’s hand on gay marriage, which we know was a farce, or calling for a man in a wheelchair to stand for the crowd, he, I guess, is out working on the president’s re-election campaign. And in this most recent outing he seemed to take to the task with something that I presume was meant to be seen as passion in a speech to AFSCME union workers Tuesday, shouting his way through a discussion of middle class workers.

Though the first thirty seconds, or so, are rather impassioned, somewhere around the 41-second mark "Slow Joe" must slip a cog, or something, because he sort of transitions from merely “speaking”, upping the db level considerably, to where he was actually “yelling”. Yelling that is accentuated by what can only be described as being some rather weird and contorted facial expressions. It's almost as if he's having some sort of fit. Directly addressing the union members, he says around the 1:27 mark: “We owe you! You shouldn’t be vilified! You provide the safe neighborhoods! You provide the good schools! You provide the school lunch program! You provide the day-care centers! You provide the hospitals! You provide the roads! You provide the ability of people to live a decent middle class life! We owe you!” Cautioning, “Joe, use your inside voice,” WeaselZippers described the speech: “Joe Biden In Full Train-Wreck Mode, Screams His Way Through Speech To Union Supporters…”

"SLICK WILLIE" CLINTON GETS A LITTLE HOT UNDER THE COLLAR...

First of all let me apologize for subjecting you all to Al "Bull Horn" Sharpton.  The only point of my posting the video was to point out that Rep. Allen West must have hit a little too close to home to suit old "BJ, in saying there is a substantial number of communists in Congress who refer to themselves as Democrats.  Personally I thought old "BJ" was going to vapor-lock.  Hilarious!

MELISSA HARRIS-PERRY...ANOTHER PSYCHO MSNBC HOST...

MSNBC'S "LOW-RENTS" O'DONNELL IS AN ASSHOLE!

WITH SO MUCH RIDING ON THE NEXT ELECTION, WE MUST COME TOGETHER...

I'm just about ready to give up on the American people as far as them being smart enough to see through all of the smoke and mirrors that is the Team Barry re-election campaign. It would seem that with each passing election Americans of every stripe get just a bit more gullible than they were during the previous election. Here we are at time in our history and in the midst of a campaign between two candidates who possess starkly different ideas about the direction that this country must go in in order to survive and what are we talking about. We insist upon getting hung up on such idiotic notions as there being some mythical desire by one party to prevent women from obtaining healthcare, homosexuals being allowed to marry, immigrants who are here illegally being able to remain here, to name just a few.

Where are the substantive discussions on the truly important topics? Such as the fact that today there are nearly 7.5 million less people in the workforce than there were when Barry first assumed office. Or the fact that the price of gas is now over twice what it was when he first came strutting into the Oval Office. Or the fact that under Barry we now have a record 45 million people on food stamps. Or the fact that real, honest to goodness, unemployment remains permanently affixed in double-digits. Or the fact that we are now literally buried in so much debt that our grandchildren will still be working to pay it off. That is, if they are able to find a job. If not, then they too will be forced to join the ranks of those who have become completely dependent on the state for their day to day existence.

Distractions abound as being the main weapon of choice for the Barry "Almighty" campaign. We, as a people, must come to our senses here, and quickly. We simply no longer have the luxury of not paying attention, or in paying attention only to what we continue to hear from those in the state controlled media who, we should have realized long ago, are very firmly in the Barry camp. We can no longer afford to take at face value anything that these people are telling us. They are not to be trusted, plain and simple. They have lost all manner of objectivity, and their mission has now become one of convincing as many Americans as possible that the candidate that they have chosen to support is the candidate that we all need to support. And that is just not the case. We must be willing to make our own choices.

So what are we to do? Well first of all we have to be smart enough not to buy into any of what it is that the Barry campaign is so busy trying to sell us. We have got to be familiar enough with our history to recognize the fact that what Barry is working so hard to bring about here is about as un-American as you could ever possibly get. We must realize that we are not Europe, we are better than that. And as such we shouldn't want to become Europe, taking offense at the fact that Barry is so insistent in his efforts to turn us into Europe. We need to reacquaint ourselves with what it means to be an American, and the traits that were once seen as being so uniquely American. We need to be proud of our heritage and shun those who continue to demonstrate nothing but their hatred for our country.

And we must also recognize that there is nothing wrong in feeling that if people wish to come to this country they must do so legally. And that no one wishes to deprive healthcare from women, or anyone else for that matter. And we must bring ourselves to understand the fact that while government does serve a purpose, its purpose is not to control our lives. Government cannot 'do' everything, nor should it be expected to. And the one thing that we absolutely must do is to put a lid on all of this idiotic racial nonsense. We need to stop viewing ourselves as being black Americans, Hispanic Americans or white Americans and start viewing ourselves, quite simply, as being Americans. To not do so only allows the unscrupulous a way to further divide us and to set us upon each other in an unflattering way that only serves to tarnish what it truly means to be American.

THE GAS BAG CHRONICLES, STARRING STENY HOYER..

You can always count on old Steny to not have a clue about what he's talking about. But then I suppose you can safely say that about any scumbag Democrat. Such was the case again today, apparently, when old Steny was asked where it is, exactly, in the Constitution that it states the Executive Branch is given the authority to grant illegal aliens work permits. Now old Steny Hoyer, that dim bulb Democrat from Merryland, didn't answer directly, as usual, so instead he chose to blather some nonsense saying, “I didn’t anticipate that question" and adding that he thinks administration prosecutors have "discretion" under the Constitution when it comes to immigration enforcement, and that it is therefore "appropriate" for the president to give work permits to some illegal aliens. Is he serious? I mean I know he ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer, But gee, is the number two Democrat in the House.

At a news briefing on Capitol Hill today, Hoyer was asked: “President Obama said Friday his administration would grant 'work authorization' to some illegal aliens, and I'm wondering where specifically does the Constitution authorize the Executive Branch to permit illegal aliens to work in the United States?” Our brilliant number-two House Democrat responded by saying: “I think the -- I didn't anticipate that question in terms of having looked at it, but let me give you my best cut at it." He then proceeded, saying, “The president of the United States has the responsibility to execute the laws of the United States," said Hoyer, "and what he has said is -- in terms of prosecutorial discretion -- that he wants to give these folks under three defined parameters an ability to have a two-year waiver, which could be re-applied for in order for them to continue to go to school and/or to work."

He went on to say, “I think that's appropriate, I think [that's in] the best interest of our country and that's why the president has taken that action." Hoyer added, "[And] in terms of prosecutors clearly have discretion in terms of what cases they're going to bring or not bring and I don't think anybody questions that under the Constitution." Discretion? Man you just gotta love these Democrats. I'd be willing to bet that old Steny, as are most if not all Democrats, is about as ignorant as one can be when it comes to the Constitution. But that's only because Democrats never concern themselves with it. I think that's pretty much obvious, isn't it. I mean really, would this country be in the shape that's it's in had the Constitution been adhered to? Ya I know both parties can be blamed for stepping on the Constitution, I just think the Democrats have been a bit more flagrant in there abuse.

Ok, so we all should know by now that last Friday, Barry "Almighty" announced that “effective immediately,” without any congressional action, the Department of Homeland Security would “lift the shadow of deportation” from hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens between the ages of 16 and 30 who have been in the United States at least five years and meet other criteria. “Over the next few months, eligible individuals who do not present a risk to national security or public safety will be able to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings and apply for work authorizations,” Barry said. And if you can believe those defending this little unilateral decision of his, there's absolutely nothing about it that based on politics. Right! The election is a mere 5 months away and we're supposed to believe that has nothing whatsoever to do with Barry trying to sway the Hispanic vote in his favor.

Just a little reminder for Steny and his cadre of slimy Democrats, about what the Constitution actually says abut the matter. What it does is to give to Congress, not Barry "Almighty", the power to make immigration law. Article 1, Section 8, Clauses 4 and 18 of the U.S. Constitution say: “The Congress shall have the power … To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization … [and] … To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers.” So there you have it! No mention of "discretion" on the part of the president, no mention of it being "appropriate for the president", nothing. The bottom line here is that Barry took it upon himself to do something that is not within his purview, but because it could be used to both distract attention away from his lack of a record and to influence Hispanic voters, it was seen as a being twofer and well worth any potential risk that he might face. End of story.

AS MUCH AS DEMOCRATS MIGHT WISH IT, IGNORING THE CONSTITUTION DOESN'T MAKE IT GO AWAY…

For an elected official, Rep. Luis Gutierrez, DEMOCRAT, seems to have a rather peculiar understanding of how our constitutional republic is designed to work. Speaking in rather candid terms on the program, ironically titled, “Democracy Now” on Monday over the process to “push [Obama] hard” to get immigration reform, Gutierrez mentioned that Barry did “go around the legislative process“ but that it was necessary because it was what a ”majority” of America wanted. Oh really, what "American" majority might that be, exactly? Praising the ruling, the congressman said “this is the Barack Obama we voted for” right after explaining that the president agreed to ”do something from an executive level." Oh, and also something he himself has said that he has no authority to do.

Gutierrez said he hoped Marco Rubio would join him in adulation of the president. And, as should be expected, he also disparaged Romney, stating the Republican candidate for president would not “use the power of the presidency” in this radical way. Gutierrez finished his comments by announcing that ”being safe in America is like the best example of democracy.” Democrat Rep. Gutierrez is from, where else but, Illinois and chairs the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’s Immigration Task Force. So, am I to understand that this imbecile actually views it as being perfectly acceptable that people who come here illegally, and who remain here illegally, should be permitted to do so for no other reason than because they're Hispanic?

Here's a few classic Quotes from this moron, Gutierrez. I think number 6 is my personal favorite:
1) “If you were a DREAMer, you had to be caught by ICE, by Immigration Control and Enforcement, and then you could appeal for discretion, and indeed—let’s be—let’s be real clear—in the immense majority of the cases, you were granted relief—that is, you were not deported.”
2) “And, you know, Juan is absolutely right in reporting that this did go around the legislative process. That’s only to a certain degree true, because let’s remember that we led the fight in November of 2010 and passed the DREAM Act in—216 to 198 in the House. And indeed, we got 51 Democratic senators and four Republicans the next month, except that wasn’t enough. It was 60 votes.”
3) “So, if you look, what Obama is doing is a reflection of the stated will of both the House and the Senate, and indeed the majority of people that live in the United States of America.”
4) “When we couldn’t pass the DREAM Act, because there were five senators who wouldn’t vote for closure back in December of 2010, we went to see the president a couple of days before Christmas in 2010, and we said, ‘We need to do something from an executive level.’”
5) “The president agreed to do that. We had to take on our own president of our own party, somebody who we wish nothing but—I mean, he’s the leader, right? And we had to push our leader. We had to push him hard to get this done. And so, I’m really, really delighted, because each and every time we kept going back, and we did it quietly, but we did it in a meaningful, consecutive manner.”
6) “This is the Barack Obama we voted for. We’re happy that he is our leader and our champion. We want to continue to work with him and redouble our efforts so that we can expand relief and we can expand justice.”
7) “I’m going to a meeting with the LGBT community, in a few minutes, when we finish this conversation, and what we’re going to talk about is immigration policy and how it is we keep those families together. And our Democratic Party is beginning to reflect the values and its traditions, given the actions of the president.”
8) “I hope that now Senator Rubio will say, ‘You know? Good move on part of the president of the United States.‘ That isn’t what he said last Friday. He criticized the president’s decision.”
9) “You juxtapose [Mitt Romney] to somebody who said, ‘You know what? I’m going to use the power of the presidency to take a group of people and take executive action so that they’re not deported, so that they’re not hurt, until the Congress of the United States does their job.’”
10) “Tens of thousands of people applying for a work permit and being safe in America is like the best example of democracy. All right? It’s like saying, ‘Come on down, and we’re going to give you the kind of government documentation that’s going to free you from the fear that you live in, and it’s going to allow you to go out there and work and get a driver’s license and continue on with your life, until the legislative branch of government.’ I think that’s justice, and I think that’s democracy. And I can’t wait to see those lines, because I’m going to be in those lines making sure that all the documents are filled out appropriately."

I suppose the fact that Democrats, including Barry, can be so willful in their complete and reckless disregard for our Constitution should come as no surprise. Democrats, to a person, seem to view our Constitution only as an impediment, and they seem to be under the rather mistaken impression that it's something that can simply be ignored rather than something that's supposed to be adhered to. So it's quite easy to understand the glee expressed by this moron Gutierrez. But can you possibly imagine the outcry, as well as the outrage, from idiots like this Gutierrez clown, if Bush had chosen to act so unilaterally on some favorite issue of the right, say abortion? They would have been pulling out all the stops in their effort to try to impeach him!

LET THE PANDERING BEGIN…WHAT MIGHT WE EXPECT TO SEE NEXT?

It took just a short seven hours after our “Dear Beloved Leader”, Barry “Almighty” had effectively ruled by decree in deciding unilaterally that some illegal aliens would now be permitted to stay in the United States and could even be allowed to work here, for Katherine Archuleta, Barry’s national campaign director, to put together and e-mail a fundraising letter seeking donations to his re-election effort. This e-mail, with the cutesy little subject line “wonderful news,” also contained links to the website, where visitors could go and listen to the wonderful speech on immigration that Barry gave at 2:08 p.m. on Friday in the White House Rose Garden. Ms. Archuleta – who has been hailed as being the first Latina to run a major presidential campaign when she was named director in June 2011 – sent the e-mail at 9:08 p.m.

“Thanks to our president, this nation's immigration policy just became more fair and more just,” the letter begins. “Effective immediately, the Department of Homeland Security is taking steps to ensure that young, undocumented immigrants who were brought here as children by their parents, and who have followed the law since then, will be able to request temporary relief from deportation proceedings -- and will be allowed to apply for authorization to work in this country,” the letter continues. The following paragraph is in bold font: “They're a group that we've come to call the "Dreamers" -- and today, the country they love is telling them they should be able to dream as big as they want,” the letter states. Dreamers? What a flippin crock! The country they love? How about the country they can come to, break our laws and effectively live off the rest of us.

The letter said that Barry has been trying “for years” to get Congress to act on immigration reform. “They haven't,” the letter states. “So he did.” The letter states Obama’s executive decision will help “hundreds of thousands” of illegal aliens. “They study in our schools, play in our parks, and pledge allegiance to our flag. Some of them have served in our Armed Forces,” the letter states. They've started businesses; they've started families. They are Americans in every way but on paper.” No, they are not Americans in any way, shape, manner or form. Lest we forget, these people are here in our country ILLEGALLY! They are willfully breaking our laws every day they remain in this country and it seems to matter to them very little. And that is a fact that you simply cannot deny. And do you break the laws of the country that you supposedly love?

Archuleta notes in the letter that if the Democrat-proposed “Dream Act,” which gives amnesty to certain young illegal aliens who were brought to this country as children, was approved by Congress, Barry’s new decree would be unnecessary. On Sunday on CNN, host Candy “I’m Big as a Freakin House” Crowly asked David Plouffe if Barry’s announcement was “political.” "It was not done with some political consideration," Crowley said. "It was not, Candy," Plouffe replied, and with a straight face, no less. "Five months before the election?" Crowley repeated. Plouffe responded, "Well, listen, who knows how the politics will turn out, but this decision was the right decision..." "And how can you say that?" Crowley asked. "Well, we'll see. I have ceased making predictions on things, because we will see how they turn out." Simply unbelievable!

So I go back to my original question here. Where does all of this obvious political pandering end? Or will it? First came Barry having an epiphany, of sorts, and sanctioning gay marriage, now this blanket amnesty of those here illegally, what might be next, the forgiving of all college loan debt? Ya know, I’ve heard time again from any number of slugs and hacks on the left about how Romney is out to buy the election. But can you not describe what Barry is trying to do here in the same way? Buying votes by any other name is still buying votes. And Barry, as we should all fully recognize by now, is that when it comes to buying votes, Barry takes a back seat to no one. And does Barry, as well as this jerk Plouffe, really think we’re so stupid as to not see this for what it so very obviously is. The honest truth here is that these guys just don’t care what we think. That point has been proven time after time after time.

And I'm guessing from the minimal outcry that I have so far heard regarding the fact that this arbitrary act by Barry is blatantly unconstitutional, it's most likely something that we're just going to have to accept. Imagine for a second, if you can bring yourself to do it, what this narcissistic egomaniac will be like if he does get re-elected. The fact that he feels he can get away with doing something like this now should provide us with some indication. And the fact that he has been confronted to so little blowback, will only serve to embolden him to take even more egregious actions in the future. When going to the polls this November we need to take into account the potential consequences of putting this guy into the position where he will not have to be concerned with any future election and thus feel free to wreak all manner of havoc upon our country.

"THE PROMISE THAT BECAME A PUNCH LINE"...

WHO'S THE BIGGER DOPE, MAHER OR LEIBOWITZ?

Try as I might, I just can't seem to figure out who it is that's the bigger jerk off, Bill Maher or Jon Leibowitz. Leibowitz, as you may or may not know, regularly bashes American multimillionaires for their wealth while ignoring completely the rather awkward fact that, he’s one of them. Yup, even though Leibowtiz does his best to distance himself from those evil "one percenters", and seems to take great pleasure in bellowing over their extravagance, his bank accounts bear all the marks of those very same multi millionaires that he so enthusiastically mocks. The 49-year-old Leibowitz, makes more than 300 times the median American salary, owns three luxury homes and sometimes doesn’t bother to pay his taxes. All of which make up the hallmark of any good liberal!

It was back in January that Leibowitz literally exploded on-air over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s income level. “That’s almost — that’s almost $57,000 a day!” he gushed. But Leibowitz’s own income level brings him and his wife Tracey approximately $41,000 a day, which ain't exactly chump change. The celebrity income-handicapping website Celebrity Net Worth lists Leibowitz's annual salary as $15 million and estimates his net worth at being in the neighborhood of $80 million. Now while $80 million doesn’t yet put Leibowitz into the same wealth bracket as Romney, it certainly is a pretty good neighborhood to be in. And, he is already on pace to be richer than the former Massachusetts governor when he reaches his age.

At his current earning rate, The Daily Show host’s net worth could very well be around $320 million by the time he turns 65, which by the way is Romney’s current age. And that total doesn’t include increases in property value or of other assets which our friend Leibowitz might accumulate or acquire in the meantime. And then there are the houses. When Arizona Sen. John McCain ran for president in 2008, he was criticized for not knowing how many houses he owned. (The answer: seven.) Stewart is well on his way into McCain country, with three opulent mansions whose combined value is over $12 million. And he doesn’t technically own those homes, instead he uses a little trick mastered by many of his fellow one-percenters, the properties were purchased by private trusts.

Leibowitz’s trusts are named after his pets. It's pretty much become common practice for the super-wealthy to make big-ticket purchases through trusts in order to protect their other assets from lawsuits, diminish estate tax liability, and avoid public scrutiny. So Leibowitz, who fancies himself a modern day version of Will Rogers, as well as a sociopolitical commentator of sorts, started his little real estate empire in 2005 when The Stanley Monkey Trust — named after his cat Stanley and one of his pit bull terriers, Monkey — purchased a two-story Manhattan penthouse for $5.8 million. That deluxe apartment in the sky spans 6,000-square-feet and has 40 windows, a 600-foot terrace, and a 1,200-foot private roof, or so the New York Observer reported in 2005.

Another legal entity, something called The Shamsky Monkey Trust, purchased two more houses in 2009 and 2010. The lakefront mansions Leibowitz bought in 2009 and 2010 are in Red Bank, New Jersey. They cost him $3,800,000 and $3,200,000 and — for reasons TheDC was unable to determine — are next door to one another. Online real estate search engines show that the Shamsky Monkey Trust also owns a $675, 000 house in North Haven, New York. Public records indicate that Leibowitz’s older brother, Lawrence Leibowitz, lives there. So as we can very plainly see, Leibowitz has become pretty handy at using the same tricks, as he likes to refer to them, that are used by those usually on the receiving end of what's described as being his political wit.

So in demonstrating what has become very typical behavior for liberals, our buddy Leibowitz quickly becomes very easily recognizable as being just another hypocrite as well as a pathetic fraud. He lies in his effort to create some sort of façade that would have him appear, at least to those who tune in to he imbecilic little television show, as being something other that what he most definitely is. Here we have a guy, who is not only a complete fraud in his personal life regarding the amount of wealth he has amassed, but also in his professional life. Look, you could train a monkey to do this guys 'job'. He is able to make a ridiculous amount of money for doing nothing more than to sit in front of a television camera while he then proceeds to read words that have written for him by other people. What a deal! Where exactly does he get off saying anything about Romney, who actually worked for his money?

ANOTHER 'BRILLIANT' MIND SUPPORTS THE FALLACY OF "CLIMATE CHANGE"...

Adding further credence to the train of thought that has the entire theory of climate change being completely bogus, and not the dreaded disaster that it is made out to be, supposedly, looming just over the horizon, that brilliant man of science, and proverbial royal mooch, the Prince of Wales has once again made clear his position, warning of the "catastrophic" consequences of inaction on climate change. He reiterated his concerns at a UN sustainability conference in, of all places, Brazil. Look, I know he's a prince and all, but really, how can anyone take seriously anything that this clown has to say regarding just about anything. Just because he's a prince, doesn't make him any smarter than the rest of us.

In what as a pre-recorded video address in Rio, our favorite prince said he had "watched in despair" at the slow pace of progress on the "critical issues of the day." He took it upon himself to urge world leaders to adopt a more integrated approach to issues such as climate change and food security. Waiting for the worst to happen would be "too late to act at all", he said. Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, is attended by heads of state and representatives from governments, non-governmental organizations and the private sector. I would be interested to know just what the prevailing political leanings might have been of all those in attendance at this particular gathering.

In this idiot's little monolog, the prince actually made the claim that scientific evidence showed the potential consequences of ignoring the risks. "Like a sleepwalker, we seem unable to wake up to the fact that so many of the catastrophic consequences of carrying on with 'business-as-usual' are bearing down on us faster than we think, already dragging many millions more people into poverty and dangerously weakening global food, water and energy security for the future," he said. Now I'm not sure what actual scientific evidence he might be referring to, because none actually exists. The entire theory of climate change/global warming is based entirely on what can rightfully be described as being junk science.

"One thing is clear. We need to be much more informed about the actual state of the planet." he went on to say, "We do not have nearly enough knowledge on which to base the decisions that will be the best for the long term." And in trying to portray this fiction as being some doomsday scenario, he added, "Until we do, we expose ourselves to the mounting danger of major shifts in policy that are not well conceived, but come as panicked responses to crises that could have been avoided." He said the "outright, skeptical reluctance" by some to engage with these issues had often slowed progress "to a standstill". Progress? Skeptical reluctance? What the Hell is talking about? And how might this royal buffoon describe progress?

Pointing to the work of his International Sustainability Unit, a foundation set up to campaign on global sustainability, the prince said a better picture of environmental problems was needed before effective policy could be implemented. He said data on energy, water, biodiversity, forestry and soil, which is collected separately, needed to be combined and analyzed as a whole. "If this could happen, at least then we would know what the state of the planet actually is - and then plan accordingly," he said. All of the data collected thus far is completely bogus. And we have seen the proof that all of the supposed scientific data has either been completely manipulated or simply created out of thin air. There's nothing to it!

The prince went on: "We do not have long to capture such a comprehensive picture, and so I would appeal to you as you meet here in Rio to make an even greater and concerted effort to persuade policy and decision-makers to act before it is finally too late." Going on to say, "It is, perhaps, a trait of human nature to act only when the worst happens, but that is not a trait we can afford to rely on here." Finally wrapping things up, "Once the worst does happen, I am afraid that this time around it will be too late to act at all." The good prince has either allowed himself to be used, or is even stupider than he looks. Which would be saying something! He, apparently, has chosen to take part in the advancing of what is nothing more than a lie.

Even though the entire theory that any supposed climate change, that may be occurring and is being cause by man, has been thoroughly discredited, it is obviously not going away anytime soon. The left has identified this little ploy as being their last opportunity to successfully vanquish from the planet any and all remnant of the hated, and very evil, free market capitalist system. They will not retreat from this game plan without a fight. We cannot allow ourselves to fall prey to this continuing line of propaganda. It's all nothing more that a charade, a very devious one, but a charade none the less. The sooner we understand that there is nothing to this, the sooner we can get back to the truly important issues at hand.

OK NOW, WHEN A GUY LIKE THIS SAYS OBAMA NEEDS TO GO...

This is one of those things that will definitely leaving you scratching your head. Because when a guy like this is saying that Barry must be defeated, it kind a makes you wonder if things might be a whole lot worse than you thought you knew they were. Because a former professor of Barry's has apparently now turned against his one-time student, publicly urging voters not to re-elect him. Roberto Unger posted the above video on YouTube detailing the specific reasons why he believes that Barry does not deserve a second term in the White House. While his reasons may be different than mine, we both arrive at the same conclusion. And that's what's important.

Mr. Unger is a prominent Brazilian politician and is also someone who was an adviser to Barry in 2008. he has said: 'President Obama must be defeated in the coming election. He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States.' The 65-year-old academic was in frequent contact with Barry on his Blackberry throughout the last election campaign but this time around there has been no contact as he says that he no longer agrees with many of Barry's decisions. His list of complaints against Barry "Almighty" is a rather long, and detailed, one. And he appears to be none to shy about revealing them.

He presents his list of grievances in the video entitled 'Beyond Obama'. And it is this video that the esteemed philosopher is rather scathing of Barry's plans to salvage America's ailing economy, saying that his policy consists solely of 'financial confidence and food stamps'. A fact that I can't really disagree with. He adds: 'He has spent trillions of dollars to rescue the moneyed interests and left workers and homeowners to their own devices.' The politician admits that if Republican candidate Mitt Romney wins the election 'there will be a cost... in judicial and administrative appointments'. He seem willing to accept that fact.

However he seem to direct his most barbed remarks toward the Democrat leader saying that Barry has 'evoked a politics of handholding, but no one changes the world without a struggle'. His summary of the past four years is equally scathing: 'Give the bond markets what they want, bail out the reckless so long as they are also rich, use fiscal and monetary stimulus to make up for the absence of any consequential broadening of economic and educational opportunity, sweeten the pill of disempowerment with a touch of tax fairness, even though the effect of any such tax reform is sure to be modest.'

While most of Mr. Unger's comments seem to be politically to the left of Barry, he insists that the Republicans would be no more destructive than the Democrats as 'the risk of military adventurism' would remain the same. The academic also attack Barry's efforts to reform healthcare. Mr. Unger argues: 'He has subordinated the broadening of economic and educational opportunity to the important but secondary issue of access to health care in the mistaken belief that he would be spared a fight.' He also suggests that, despite their fierce rivalry, the Democrats' agenda is little different to that of the Republicans, saying the party aims 'to put a human face on the program of its adversaries'.

The good professor concludes his little video by saying: 'Only a political reversal can allow the voice of democratic prophecy to speak once again in American life.' Mr. Unger is a renowned politician in his native Brazil. He has twice has run for president of Brazil and has served as Minister of Strategic Affairs. Unger was one of the founding members of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party and drafted its founding manifesto. He has also advised on politics throughout Latin America. The professor is a respected author having published dozens of books on economics, philosophy and politics. In philosophy, his arguments are said to focus on some the greatest problems of the human existence.

So here we now have a guy who supported Barry in 2008, even acted as an advisor, of sorts, as having had a change of heart, so to speak. Now you would think, because of his background and political leanings, he would again be a very vocal supporter of Barry. But what's that old saying, even a nut will run out of a burning building. And since what we have here, thanks to Barry and the Democrats, is very much a burning building, I can understand his having changed his position regarding his choosing not to support Barry in his quest for re-election. Especially as things continue to burn down around us. But even so, regardless of his reasons, his comments do add credibility to the argument that Barry must be prevented from serving another term.

DAVID PLOUFFE CLAIMS IMMIGRATION OVER-REACH IS "WITHIN OUR AUTHORITY"...
