JUNIOR AND THE MRS. HEAD OFF TO PRISON...

Jesse Jackson Jr. was sentenced today, to two and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to scheming to spend $750,000 in campaign funds on such things as TV's, restaurant dinners, an expensive watch and other costly trinkets. His wife received a sentence of one year. Junior, the son of a rather shady character in his own right, Jesse 'The Extortionist' Jackson, had been a Democrat congressman from Illinois, the most corrupt state in the union, from 1995 until he resigned last November. According to court papers in the case, Jackson used campaign money to buy such items as a $43,350 gold-plated men's Rolex watch and other such niceties that your basic best dressed negro will be wearing this year.

And in what demonstrated the fact that she very obviously had no clue to whom it was that she was speaking, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson said that as a public official Jackson was expected to "live up to a higher standard of ethics and integrity." Junior is just one more Democrat who seems to think that the law does not apply to him. After prison, Junior will be spending three years on supervised release and will complete 500 hours of community service. Jackson's wife, Sandra, was also sentenced Wednesday to a year in prison for filing joint federal income tax returns that understated the couple's income. Court documents showed that she spent $5,150 in campaign funds on fur capes and parkas.

Junior had pleaded guilty to the criminal charges back in February when he admitted that he and his wife had used campaign credit cards to buy 3,100 personal items worth nearly 600 grand from 2005 through April of last year. Items that included $60,857 for personal expenditures at restaurants, nightclubs and lounges; $16,058 for personal expenditures at sports clubs and lounges; $5,814 for alcohol and $14,513 for dry cleaning. Individual campaign credit card purchases included a $466 dinner for two of "a personal nature" at a restaurant; a washer, dryer, range and refrigerator for the Jacksons' Chicago home; multiple flat-screen televisions, Blu-Ray DVD players and DVDs for their Washington, D.C., home; and a five-day health retreat for one of Mrs. Jackson's relatives.

On Wednesday, Jackson said he hoped his wife would get probation and that if that wasn't available then he would gladly serve her sentence for her. "Give me her time," he said. Gee, now ain't that touching. Jackson also asked to serve out his time in Alabama, saying, "I wanted to make it a little inconvenient for everybody to get to me." So what now, is he trying to be seen as some kind of martyr, or is he trying to grease the skids for his next campaign upon his eventual release? I'm sure his days in public office are far from being over. This little stint behind bars will most likely be seen as a resume enhancer as it usually is with any Democrat. And as we have seen so many times in the past, there is pretty much nothing that will keep blacks from voting for other blacks. Remember drugee Marion Barry?

Under federal sentencing guidelines, Junior could have gone up the river for 46 to 57 months, but of course with Junior being a Democrat and black to boot, the government recommended the lower end of that, 48 months. Jackson's lawyer, Reid H. Weingarten, worked to continued the scam of Junior having some mental condition by writing that the former congressman's mental health might worsen under the stress of incarceration. Jackson has supposedly been treated for depression and bipolar disorder. But I think most folks are able to recognize that as being nothing more than a scam perpetrated by this pathetic loser. A loser who really had everything, but it just wasn't enough! Maybe if he had paid closer attention to how his old man does things, he wouldn't have got busted.

Just what is it about wimpy, limp-wristed Democrats, that every time one of them gets caught with a hand in the cookie jar, they need to be placed on some kind of suicide watch out of fear that they might take their own life. Personally, I’m of the opinion that we should just let them, although I seriously doubt they’d actually have the guts to go through with it. Because I think what they’re really after is nothing more than a little sympathy. Which brings to the point of this little rant. It seems that Jesse "The Extortionist" Jackson Sr. says that his ex-congressman son is now under "tight medical supervision" after being charged with misusing campaign funds.

 

Attempting to perpetuate the myth which I assume he hopes will salvage Junior’s opportunity to again run for public office once the completes his period of incarceration, J.J. the Sr. said in a statement to the Chicago Tribine, "He is struggling with the highs and lows of his bipolar disorder." The younger Jackson was formally charged Friday with misusing $750,000 in campaign funds. Federal documents show Jackson bought memorabilia that once belonged to Michael Jackson, Bruce Lee, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. He is also charged with using the funds to buy children's furniture and a gold-plated men's Rolex watch.

 

Jackson resigned from Congress in November, after serving for 17 years in a Chicago-based district. He was supposedly on medical leave for several months last year, during which time he was actually re-elected by those find upstanding folks in his district. Go figure. And at some point during this little example of ridiculous political theater, it was revealed, more likely probably leaked, that he even sought treatment from the Mayo Clinic for his bipolar disorder. Several news reports now indicate Jackson is negotiating a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department. Jackson faces a maximum penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

 

Demonstrating that corruption must run in the family, in a separate criminal complaint, federal prosecutors have now charged Sandi Jackson, the ex-congressman's wife, with filing false tax returns. She faces a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $100,000 fine. Jackson Sr. told the Chicago newspaper that he hopes his son's apology, issued Friday when the charges were revealed, will be well received. "This is a storm; within time, storms pass over," he said. At least, I suppose that’s what everybody hoping for. Because like I said that which Junior is being charged with rarely enough to keep any good Democrat down for long.

 

More often than not, such charges as those that Junior now faces are simply seen as resume enhancers. So when Junior decides to run for office once he’s released from prison, he’ll probably be a shoe in for re-re-election. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s black. Because first and foremost, as we have seen time and again, it’s been proven that blacks will vote for blacks no matter what. That’s their primary criteria for deciding who they’re going to vote for unless of course you happen to be Allen West or Mia Love. Which never really made any sense to me. I just chalked it up to being a black thing. So I am more than sure we haven’t seen the last of Junior.



SO, ANYBODY FEELIN SORRY FOR POOR LITTLE ‘JUNIOR’???

 

 

Well it seems that former, and as it turns out quite corrupt, Illinois Democrat Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. has now signed a plea deal with federal prosecutors. And, apparently, at least according to a source familiar with the investigation, that deal will carry with it some rather significant jail time. You know, people like this little twerp just never cease to amaze me. Guys like ‘Junior’ have the world by the ass, and yet it never quite seems to be enough. They somehow think that they are entitled and see themselves as somehow being above the law.

The sleazy Chicago Democrat got himself in a jam that even ‘Daddy’ Jackson couldn’t make go away. ‘Junior’ has been under investigation for sometime now, accused of allegedly misspending a large amount of campaign funds. He also reportedly bought a $40,000 watch with campaign money. Really, $40,000? And demonstrating that sleaze must run in the family, the Chicago Sun-Times reported earlier this week that federal prosecutors now have separate investigations underway, one into Jackson and another into his classy wife, Sandi.

Sandi Jackson had served as a Chicago alderman from the 7th Ward until resigning last month. Her husband served eight full terms in the U.S. House after winning a special election in 1995. Federal prosecutors are reportedly examining access Sandi Jackson may have had to her husband’s congressional campaign funds, including moving money between accounts, as well as credit card charges. Well, you know, the money was there, and you know, a woman likes to shop, so what the heck. No harm was actually intended, and she earned that money.

The Sun-Times reports that Sandi Jackson was paid almost $5,000 a month from her husband’s campaign fund, payments that continued even after he started seeking treatment for some bogus mental health issue last year. It is not yet known whether she will face charges in connection with the case. Jackson finally resigned his Congressional seat he had held for 17 years on Nov. 21, 2012, although he had won re-election just 15 days earlier. Which just goes to show you that blacks will vote for blacks no matter what!

"During this journey, I have made my share of mistakes," he wrote in his resignation letter to Speaker John Boehner. "I am aware of the ongoing federal investigation into my activities, and I am doing my best to address the situation responsibly, cooperate with the investigators, and accept responsibility for my mistakes, for they are my mistakes and mine alone. None of us is immune from our share of shortcomings or human frailties and I pray that I will be remembered for what I did right." Man, that brings a tear to my one good eye! NOT!

 

I must admit that I’m quite surprised that ‘Junior’ will be facing any actual punishment for his crimes, being a Democrat, and all. Of course he ain’t there yet. Usually members of his political party simply get away with nothing more than making some silly apology, and if by some strange chance they are requested to resign from Congress, they profess their innocence and the injustice of it all and then land some high paying gig somewhere like CNN or MSNBC. Frankly I’m surprised that ‘Junior’ may actually spend a little time behind bars.



JESSE JACKSON JR., POSTERBOY FOR CORRUPT DEMOCRATS EVERYWHERE…

So, because this boob Jesse Jackson Jr., couldn’t bring himself to do the honorable thing, ya I know what the Hell am talking about, and simply resign in time enough to allow someone else run for his seat, instead, Illinois taxpayers are now expected to cover the cost, which is more than $5.1 million, for the elections that are now necessary to replace his stupid butt in the House. At least that’s according to the state elections board. Junior who has been AWOL from the Capitol for months, finally offered his resignation today to House Speaker John Boehner. Supposedly, this useless scumbag has been undergoing ‘treatment’ at the Mayo Clinic for his supposed bipolar disorder. Then, of course, you have the fact that he is currently being investigated by federal authorities for his questionable, and most likely illegal, use of campaign funds. Imagine that, a Democrat illegally using their campaign funds.

Looking at two special House elections held in Illinois in recent years, those to replace GOP House speaker Denny Hastert and Democratic congressman Rahm Emanuel, the Illinois State Board of Elections calculated those elections cost $2,700 to $4,000 per precinct. With 590 precincts in Jackson’s 2nd Congressional District, an election would probably cost around $2,575,000, at that’s what the state board told ABC News. Illinois will hold two special elections to replace Jackson, a primary and a general, and the state board projects that replacing Jackson could cost at total of $5.15 million. That’s just a projection, and it assumes that the 2nd Congressional District will hold the special elections on their own days. State law will likely allow for the primary, but not the general, to be held alongside already-scheduled votes for state and local offices.

Jackson technically hasn’t officially won re-election yet, as the state won’t certify election results until Dec. 2. And officials are unsure of whether that will affect how Gov. Pat Quinn handles Jackson’s resignation, an official with the state elections board said. What’s laughable is that the crook Jackson handily defeated Republican lawyer Brian Woodworth with 63 percent of the vote, according to the still-unofficial results. Quinn, a Democrat, must set a special-election date within five days, under Illinois law. The election must be held in the 115 days after that. Jackson may have cost taxpayers extra by resigning so suddenly. In an effort to save money, the 2nd District does have the option of holding its special election on Illinois’ consolidated election schedule at the same time as lesser races throughout the state. But that doesn’t seem possible under Illinois’s statutory special-election timeline.

Of course, Democrats never have a problem making changes to election laws if needed. Illinois primaries will happen Feb. 26, but the April 9 general-election date falls outside of the 115-day special-election range requirement. Counting Thursday as day 1, March 21 is the earliest the 2nd District special election could be held. The option had Junior decided to think of those in his district was to wait until Dec. 15 to resign, then Quinn could have then scheduled the general special election for April 9, along with Illinois’ other general elections. The cost of the special elections will be borne by the counties in Jackson’s district, as well as by the state. Holding a statewide special election to replace governor Rod ‘Blago’ Blagojevich cost the state between $90 million and $100 million, according to estimates, the state elections board said. So in these days of growing budget shortages, millions of dollars must now be spent because of Junior.

This is how it always is with Democrats whenever they’re caught with the hands in the cookie jar. They claim to be innocent and that accusations being made against them are based solely on their race, or their gender or their faith or even their sexual preference all in their attempt to hold onto their position. But usually, in the end, their guilt is established beyond a shadow of a doubt and all of the name-calling done in the attempt to profess their innocence, by slandering their accusers, results in nothing more than poisoning the entire system just a little bit more. But that’s of very interest to them, if it matters at all to them. Democrats are essentially the dregs of our society who have managed to sufficiently con, through the dispensing of gifts, specific voting blocks and thus gain for themselves positions of political power. But far from being interested in their constituents, they, like Jackson, are far more interested in lining their own pockets.

Well apparently there are sources who are now saying that Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. would be willing to give up his 2nd Congressional District seat, but only if he's given disability when he steps down. Now I ask you, just how far would any Republican get making an idiotic demand like that? Jackson Jr. was re-elected to his tenth term but last month, sources say, he applied for a disability package, what could be his only income if he resigns. It is expected to take a couple of weeks for Congress to approve or deny the request. Why two weeks? They should be able to answer that question in less time that it takes Barry to spend a couple billion dollars.

His house on 72nd Street there in Chicago is also part of the federal government's investigation into allegations that Jackson Jr. misused campaign funds. No, say it ain’t so, not Jr. Sources also say Jackson allegedly spent $20,000 to renovate and buy furniture for the family's home in Chicago, not their 5-bedroom Victorian home in Washington D.C. The basement in the Chicago home has five televisions and a number of printers and copying machines, sources say. Most of the equipment was purchased in the mid-90's when Jackson was first elected, but because of flooding a couple of years ago, most, if not all, was replaced.

Sources close to the family have also said that the congressman may be trying to report the use of the space in the basement as his campaign headquarters. Calls were made to the House Ethics Committee in D.C. and while they would not comment specifically on Jackson's case, the federal campaign finance law states, "a campaign committee may not rent space in the candidate's home." The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that the congressman's wife, Alderman Sandi Jackson, is also being investigated because she is a consultant for Jackson's campaign operation and is paid monthly.

So, here we have yet another example of how it is that Democrats think that they should not be made to abide by the same rules they demand that all others must live by. And especially not if they happen to be a Democrat who also happens to be black. Because then all bets are off, because those folks see themselves as being able to operate in pretty much any manner that they see fit, and not having to abide by any silly rules. They are above such foolishness and if ever accused of violating some rule, they simply label their accuser a racist. Must be nice. Frankly I'm surprised that Jackson hasn't yet started throwing that around. Maybe that's still to come.

THIS JACKSON STORY JUST GETS CURIOUSER AND CURIOUSER...

Man, this story gets a little more bizarre with each passing day. It brings to mind that old Elmer Fudd/Bugs bunny cartoon where Elmer was some tycoon who pretends he's going crazy, by making those around him think that he thinks he was a rabbit, just to keep from going to prison for tax evasion. In a recent story on the front page of the Washington Post about the many controversies surrounding our favorite reclusive Democratic congressman, Jesse Jackson Jr., readers have to wade through 23 paragraphs before they hit the story’s most interesting nugget of information:

"The prince [Jackson] was erecting the foundations of a power base, diving into countless local races by endorsing candidates, seeding the region with mayors and other local officials who would be loyal supporters. But he could be mercurial, former associates say. Jackson sometimes boasted that he was a reincarnated Greek chariot driver, [political operative Frank] Coconate said. "I really thought he had a problem with reality," Coconate said. "He’d get in his own little world. He’d come out with outlandish things." At one of Jackson’s hangouts — a Turkish bath — he’d prance naked, demonstrating martial arts moves, while the others stayed wrapped in towels, said Frank Avila Jr., a former supporter who is a Democratic operative. (Emphasis added.)"

Now, to be fair to Jackson, the Post’s article does say that Coconate and Jackson had a falling out a few years ago, so take the story with a grain of salt. According to Coconate and Avila, Jackson also "called older African American lawmakers ‘plantation Negroes’ and whites were ‘lemonheads.’" The Post quotes Frank Watkins, a spokesman for Jackson’s congressional office, as saying, "I’ve never heard him [Jackson] say anything remotely like that. It sounds completely foreign to me." So, what's really going on here?

Bottom line here is that I think Junior has managed to get himself into a couple of messes and may see playing crazy for a while as his ticket to avoid any punishment. He gets to play crazy for a while and then after things blow over, then, miraculously, he becomes his old self again and everything returns to normal. Now you would think the fact that he's a Democrat, and black to boot, all of these strange theatrics wouldn't be necessary. That his get out trouble card would be kinda automatic. But I guess he wants to make sure so he's pulling out all the stops.

I THINK IT’S SAFE TO FILE THIS ONE UNDER…CROCK OF SH!T!!

It seems that Jesse Jackson Jr., Democrat and son of Jesse “The Extortionist” Jackson Sr., is now apparently back at home after undergoing what has been described as “extended treatment” for his supposed bipolar disorder at the Mayo Clinic. This information came from his chief of staff on Friday. “He’s at home in Washington convalescing with his wife and children,” aide Rick Bryant told the Associated Press. “Let’s hope he returns to work on Monday.” By all means, please, lets hope. Is this not some of stupidest crap you ever heard?

Bryant said he wasn’t sure when exactly Jackson was discharged. A statement from Jackson’s wife said she and her husband were “thankful for the heartfelt prayers and kind thoughts from so many for our family.” Jackson did what most corrupt liberals do whenever they’re caught doing something they shouldn’t be doing, and that if any of us got doing would be headed to prison. Jesse Jr. took medical leave from Congress in June for what was then an undisclosed reason. A statement from the Mayo Clinic in July revealed he was undergoing treatment for depression.


That excuse was later amended to be Bipolar II, a disorder involving periodic bouts of depression and hypomania. Hypomania is a less serious form of mania. Oddly, but something that should have come as no surprise, the timing of his “medical leave” drew scrutiny, as Jackson is currently the focus of a congressional investigation over allegations he offered to raise campaign cash for former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich in exchange for being appointed to Barry’s old Senate seat. Which would be typical behavior for someone like Jr., and Sr. for that matter.


Now as usual whenever we’re dealing with Democrats, who, no matter the evidence against them, maintain their innocence and who always claim to be victims of some witch-hunt or some vast right wing conspiracy, Jackson continues to deny any wrongdoing, and he will most likely continue to do so even as he marches off to prison. Granted he hasn’t been charged as of yet, but it’s hard to determine the reason behind that. Illinois is one of the most corrupt states in the country, and where daddy Jackson has plenty of influence. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s black. You know the race card and all.
