ANDY CUOMO, ANOTHER POSTER BOY FOR TODAY’S ‘DEMOCRAT’ PARTY…

I cannot be the only one wondering why it is that Democrats appear so determined in the efforts to ensure everyone is ‘vaccinated.’ And I must admit the main reason for my continued resistance to getting the vaccine is the level of intensity behind the Democrats’ continuing to demand that I get it. Especially when it is at the very same time that many of these very same Democrats seem not to be bothered in the least by the fact that we continue to have untested and unvaccinated illegal immigrants flooding across our southern border on nearly a daily basis. So why is it so imperative that I get this ‘vaccine’ and much less so for those flooding into my country illegally?  

Which brings me to none other than our Emmy award winning, and blatantly pervert Democrat governor, Andy Cuomo who, at least for the time being remains the governor of New York. You see, it was just this past Monday that Cuomo asked private businesses in his state, including bars and restaurants, to “go to vaccine-only admission,” thereby barring patrons who are unvaccinated. And he actually seemed to insist that the proposed policy would really be in their “best business interest.” It was a Monday press conference that Cuomo argued that, “Everybody has to get vaccinated,” and emphasized the importance of “outreach, outreach, outreach.”

And it was then that he said, “Deploy community groups. Deploy people who have credibility in the community, religious leaders. Educate people who still think that this is made up and it’s a problem and nobody really tested this and incentivize the vaccinations,” and touted ‘Creepy Joe’ Biden’s $100 per vaccine pitch. He said, “Free pass at the movies, whatever incentives you can come up with,” before turning his attention to all of private businesses, asking them to put into place stringent vaccine passport requirements, effectively barring unvaccinated people from entering private establishments. Now if I was a business owner, I’d tell Cuomo to go pound sand!!!

He went on to say, “Private businesses, I am asking them and suggesting to them go to vaccine-only admission. Go to vaccine-only admission. We did this,” he said. “Radio City Music Hall months ago reopened vaccine-only, sold out all the shows. Sports arenas, they went up to about 90 percent vaccine-only.” And in explaining that he would want to know if the person next to him at a bar was vaccinated, he continued, “Private businesses, bars, restaurants — go to a vaccine-only admission. I believe it’s in your best business interest.” He said, “If I go to a restaurant and I’m sitting at a table, and the table right next to me, I want to know that they’re vaccinated.”

And before touting his state’s vaccine passport program, the Excelsior pass, he said, “I believe it’s in your business interest to run a vaccine-only establishment.” And he went on to claim, “We have passes. They’re on apps. They’re on phones. It’s very simple. You can operate a restaurant. Just say you have to show that you were vaccinated when you walk in the door. It’s going to help your business, not hurt it.” And it was according to his rather twisted liberal logic that Cuomo surmised that barring the unvaccinated from entering basic establishments will act as the ultimate incentive, forcing them to get vaccinated. His is a rather simplistic view of things. 

He went on to add, “If you say to people, well if you don’t have a vaccine, you can’t get into these establishments, then you’ll see a real incentive to get vaccinated.” His remarks come one week after putting on display a more severe tone against the unvaccinated, expressing the need to get into communities, knock on doors, convince people, and “put them in a car and drive them and get that vaccine in their arm.” It was just one week ago that Cuomo said, “That is the mission.” All of this from a guy who should be behind bars for both mass-murder AND his blatantly perverted behavior against women. But he’s a Democrat so he remains free and able to walk the streets.

And so what is it, exactly, that makes Cuomo think that after barely surviving the draconian lockdown that he himself put into place, that these private businesses will choose to prevent paying customers from entering their establishments? And while at this point it’s merely a suggestion, and not a mandate, when it does become a mandate, which I'm sure it will, I would like to think that business owners would not comply because it would be tantamount to another lockdown when their patrons refuse to show proof of their vaccines and their businesses lose patrons and that then forces them to lock down again. It’s a no-win situation in the event of a mandate.

In truth, these businesses wouldn’t be enforcing anything, because what some will likely do is call local law enforcement and then it again becomes the government, essentially by proxy, that will end up being the one who is enforcing these corporate mandates. This is the government panning out its authority and desire to exceed its authority to unelected, unaccountable proxies. This is an authoritarian regime using corporate players to advance the regime’s agenda, this is pure fascism on display. It’s all they have left if they wish to maintain even the façade of staying within the bounds set by the Constitution. But then that has never mattered much before.

This goes along with Cuomo who, just a few days ago, was telling New York City businesses that they need to force their employees to come back into the city so that they can then financially support all the other small businesses. And it has been reported that Cuomo has also been dropping strong hints that he may be planning to compel all New York State healthcare workers, teachers and other school employees to get the shot. So what is it, exactly, that Cuomo thinks gives him the authority for that. He’s a governor now behaving like some tinhorn dictator. Not one more American should get this vaccine before those streaming across our border get it!

And by the way, isn't this the same moron who, after begging President Trump for assistance, ended up not using any of the 1000 or so beds on the Navy hospital ship that was sent to New York harbor to help with the ‘Chinese virus?’ And this is also the same moron who shipped elderly patients affected with the virus off to elderly patient care facilities in order to free up hospital beds and then purposely fudged the numbers when the death rates in those same facilities went through the roof. Also this is the same moron about whom so many absolutely raved regarding his handling of the virus to the point where there were calls for him to run for president.

So first Cuomo managed to kill tens of thousands of elderly in New York City with his executive order. Then he proceeded to shut down and put out of business thousands of small businesses. Now he’s calling on small businesses to continue to endure lower profits as they alienate what would likely end up being half of their customers. This man should be in prison. The butcher of New York won’t be happy by just sending the elderly to early graves. Now, he will ruin the livelihoods of many more. Many in the country have grown tired of having to cover the costs of cleaning up the mess in blue states like New York. States that need to elect real governors or suffer on their own.

Any finally, do people not get that government controlling the actions of private businesses in one of the definitions of Fascism? Our ‘representative’ government is now controlling what information we can see, what we can say online, and now, what we MUST put into our bodies, all through executive fiat and coercion of essential private businesses to enforce government dictates. Land of the free? As long as the government and the media are able to keep us focused on the virus and vaccines, we will be distracted from the mess being created at our border, out of control inflation and violence in our cities. And the fact that a senile old man is running our country.

SO, WHEN IS A SCANDAL NOT ‘REALLY’ A SCANDAL???

Well, the answer to the afore mentioned question is really a relatively easy one. It’s whenever said scandal is committed by politician who happens to have a (D) after their name. Case in point would be the mess that the current governor of New York, Andy Cuomo, now finds himself embroiled in and that has those in our ‘fake News’ media unwilling to report on any of the rather unsavory behavior of the governor.  

You see, it is America’s three most prominent networks, ABC, NBC, and CBS, who have seemed to ignore completely any mention of the sexual harassment claims now being made again Cuomo during their evening news programs. And it should come as virtually no surprise that both CNN and MSDNC have also declined to address the scandal. But imagine, if you can, what would happen if Cuomo was a Republican.

According to transcripts, ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS’s Evening News, and NBC’s Nightly News made no mention of the embattled Cuomo, who is also facing calls for his impeachment and resignation after he was accused of covering up roughly 15,000 deaths from the coronavirus in state nursing homes following his rather controversial order that these facilities be made to accept coronavirus-positive patients.

It’s one thing to get misinformation at the beginning of a developing story. Another altogether to fabricate the story from the beginning and then be allowed to simply apologize when the truth is finally revealed. I would even go so far as to say such an offense would be forgivable if it happened rarely. However, when it’s become a regular occurrence with every single story reported on, that should be unacceptable.

Cuomo’s former deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser Lindsey Boylan alleged on Wednesday in an essay published on the website Medium that Cuomo went “out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms and legs,” forcibly kissed her on the lips during a one-on-one briefing, and suggested they “play strip poker” during a plane ride. I’ve always thought Cuomo was a bit creepy.

Ms. Boylan’s allegations come as Cuomo’s administration is currently under investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn following reports that the governor’s top aide told Democrat lawmakers officials withheld the nursing home data due to concerns that the figures could “be used against us” in a federal investigation. And I’m sure Cuomo was confident his misdeeds would never see the light of day.

It seems the only quality a Democrat needs is his/her/its ability to lie and to accuse others of taking part in the same exact behavior that they themselves are taking part in. Combine that with the fact that we have what is a willingly uninformed group of voters who seem only too happy to sell their vote in exchange for some ‘free’ stuff. I wouldn’t let Cuomo pick up golf balls if I had a golf course; he’d steal them.

It’s become the standard modus operandi of those in our ‘fake news’ media to defend Democrats to the death, no matter how horrific their conduct may be. We saw how it was that the media ran interference for Clinton, ‘BO’, Holder, Weiner, Spitzer and every other indicted or convicted Democrat politician who ever existed. A Democrat could strangle an infant and the media would either ignore it or blame Donald Trump.

It’s hard to believe the depths to which America has sunk. The death-junkie Cuomo commits mass-murder and brags about it. He faces no consequences for his enormous crimes. Yet, his career may be ended because he flirted with a woman. It’s a crime to flirt with a woman, but mass murder is somehow virtuous? So the lesson to be learned here? If a politician commits murder, charge him with sexual harassment.

We’re constantly being told how we must believe all women except, of course, on those not so rare occasions when we have a woman accusing a Democrat. And it’s on those occasions that a simple denial will be sufficient to make it as though any accusation of wrongdoing was never made. Cuomo may be done for, as we’re now beginning to hear from other Democrats how there is now need for an investigation.

But I seriously doubt that Cuomo will be made to face any serious consequences for his deplorable actions, it’s just the way it is when you’re an elected Democrat official. Your position comes with a ‘Get Out Of Jail Free’ card. And so, there will be no reports by our criminally negligent ‘fake news’ media, that would lead to a meaningful investigation of criminal activity of any Democrat politician.

Those in our ‘fake news’ media are not doing their jobs as ‘journalists.’ They are shills of the criminal organization also known as the Democrat Party. However, at some point, some ingenious entrepreneur will come up with an idea or bit of technology that will destroy their stranglehold on information and the media will have no one to blame for that except themselves. They can go learn to code.

Democrats are always warning about the Republican Party’s war on women. But which party is it that it can be said is the only party with a conformed kill? That would of course be the Democrat Party, and who was it that was responsible for that kill? Well that would, of course, be none other than that ‘Lion of the Senate,’ Teddy Kennedy. One of those that most Democrats look upon as being some sort of icon. Sad!

ANDREW CUOMO, THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER…

Let me just say that never has there been a bigger waste-of-skin, other than perhaps his father, to hold any public office than Andrew Cuomo, current governor of the once great state of New York.  As someone who was born in New York and spent the first 25 years of my life there, before joining the Navy, it was because of the leftward slant of its leaders, regardless of party, that I chose not to return after a 24 year career in the Navy.  While it is a beautiful state, and my family does still reside there, it’s also one of the most mismanaged states in the entire country.  And while I would have loved nothing better than to have returned, it simply didn’t make financial sense to do so.

Now moving on to the subject of Mr. Cuomo, it was during a press conference on Thursday, that this imbecile reacted to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) telling states to be ready to distribute a coronavirus vaccine by November by remarking, “How convenient. It’s going to be an Election Day miracle drug.”  This douche bag also announced that the New York State Department of Health will undertake a review of “all the protocol and research by the FDA and whatever federal authorities say it’s safe and effective” before they recommend that New Yorkers take the vaccine.  So will he actually choose to withhold any vaccine from New Yorkers?

It was during the press conference that Cuomo said, “The president says he’s going to have a vaccine. CDC is talking about a vaccine in early November. How convenient. It’s going to be an Election Day miracle drug. Some people are concerned that the vaccine may wind up being hydroxychloroquine. So, the State Department of Health, before we recommend that New Yorkers take a vaccine, the State Department of Health will be reviewing all the protocol and research by the FDA and whatever federal authorities say it’s safe and effective. So, we will, before we recommend New Yorkers take any vaccine, we will have the State Department of Health review it.”

Cuomo criticizing the vaccine release as a campaign stunt is quite poetic.  After all, this is the same guy who has served as a chief participant in one of the greatest election hoaxes in the history of mankind.  The ‘China virus’ lockdowns were a total sham the purpose of which was to destroy the U.S. economy in the months before America votes, in hope of having an adverse effect on President Trump’s re-election chances.  Are we really going to believe anything else after finding out that this thing only killed 6% of the people that they claimed it did?  Cuomo would rather there be no vaccine at all, than have one that happens to come out in a timely fashion.

The Democrats use of fear porn and propaganda has never been restricted to rioting in the streets. Murdering grandparents to increase the number of deaths, heighten the hysteria, and damage the economy in pursuit of power fits on one page of their playbook.  They and their media stooges already launched a jihad against HCQ, a drug that wouldn’t have ended the ‘Chinese virus’ but may have saved thousands of lives as a treatment. A drug that has been used safely for 70 years suddenly became vilified as deadly, just for political purposes. Once the virus started, they found they could use the pandemic to strip away civil rights and as a weapon against President Trump.

President Trump sent this incompetent boob, Cuomo, a hospital ship while at the same time he insisted upon sending those patients infected with the ‘Chinese virus’ into nursing homes and assisting living facilities instead.  So who is the one who is politicizing the ‘Chinese virus?’   He was the biggest cheerleader for the CDC for the last 6 months, and now that they report a potential vaccine, he accuses them of a conspiracy?  Your typical leftwing loser.  Also, he's guilty of murder for some 10,000 preventable deaths.  And isn't it rather convenient that as that story starts to unravel, he insinuates that there should be violence against the president.  Just sayin’.

Andrew ‘America was never that Great’ Cuomo recently threatened the President of the United States and made the claim that President Trump “is not welcome in New York.” And yet, it was also recently that Cuomo was heard begging people to come back to New York, even offering to take them out to dinner or even to cook dinner for them.  His policies are as tragic as they are deadly and are further destroying the once great state of New York.  Cuomo is yet another of those Democrats severely deficient when it comes to the necessary skillset required for the office that he holds, and yet managed to get himself elected courtesy of the state’s liberal city dwellers.

How convenient that the vaccine would likely help instill some level of confidence in people which would then also facilitate the restoring of our economy, which is absolutely the very last thing that Democrats, like Cuomo, are wanting to see this close to the election.  Because, you see, Democrats want as many people as possible to remain out of work and completely dependent upon government.  Because what remains most important to them is not the health and wellbeing of the American people, but the defeat of Donald J. Trump.  Talk about some screwed up priorities.  But we shouldn’t really be surprised, it’s Democrats doing what Democrats do best.    

And lastly, there has been much talk of late, and generated by those like Cuomo, regarding whether or not President Trump will actually accept defeat should the American people decide that they prefer ‘Creepy Joe’ as their president.  And I have no doubt that should he lose fair and square that the president most definitely would accept the will of the people and return to private life.  But if there should be any question whatsoever regarding the election result then I would expect the president to do all within his power to ensure that the result arrived at IS the will of the people and not the result of some massive voter scam perpetrated by the Democrat Party.

ANDREW CUOMO THINKS HE'S DESERVING OF A BAILOUT???

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist, nor someone who is a brain surgeon to look out across this great land of ours and very quickly come to the realization that the states that are the poorest run and the least fiscally responsible, more often than not, tend to be the very same states that have a Democrat at the helm.  And if there is a silver lining to be found ANYWHERE in this ongoing ‘Chinese virus’ fiasco, it’s that it has made it painfully clear that any state currently run by any Democrat is most definitely one that should be avoided at all costs.  It’s many of these Democrat governors who have behaved as if the states they ‘lead’ are their own private little kingdoms.

I spent the first 25 years of my life, and I am now 68, in the great state of New York.  I lived in a very rural part of the state that was, and is still to this day, quite beautiful.  But I vowed I would never go back except to visit family.  The main reason for that is the fact that after decades of Democrat/RINO mismanagement the state is a mess on any number of levels.  Taxes and state mandated fees on everything from its sales tax to property tax to the tax on gas continue to take an increasingly bigger bite out of resident’s disposable income.  It’s the leaders of New York who are solely responsible for their fiscal mess, and yet there is now talk of a federal bailout.

The reason for my singling out New York has to do with the fact that Andrew Cuomo, current governor of New York, appeared earlier this week on MSDNC, essentially to do little more than to whine, calling Republicans’ comments about allowing blue states to go bankrupt were both “toxic and poison.”   Now as far as I’m concerned, ‘sticks and stone may break my bones but names will never hurt me!’  Because there is nothing that equates to “toxic or poison” when it comes to not wanting to bailout those who through their very own negligence have managed to create for themselves a fiscal mess that they seem unable to get themselves out of on their own.

Anyway, it was during his MSDNC appearance that Cuomo said, “I want to see the federal government step up and do their job. They have not funded state and local governments. They want to fund airlines, they want to fund hotels they want to fund restaurants, big corporations, but they haven’t funded state and local governments. State and local governments that means police, fire, healthcare workers all the people we now glorify as heroes, that’s who state and local governments fund. And for Washington to be saying they’re not going to fund state and local governments, states can go bankrupt with Senator McConnell’s statement.”

He went on to say, “States can go bankrupt. They want to help the economy, but they want states to go bankrupt. I mean, can you find a single economist would say that will help the markets letting states go bankrupt. So they have to step up. They have to do their job.”  He continued, “First of all, it wasn’t just Senator McConnell. I can’t believe you would say such an obnoxious comment in public just to negotiate in Washington some backroom deal. Save that garbage for the backroom deal, Right? He doubled down on it. He said states should go bankrupt, and then he said this will be a blue state bailout, and Senator Scott from Florida said the same thing.”

And he concluded by saying, “Why should we bail out these Democrats?  Right?  Like it’s only Democrats that get coronavirus. This partisanship is toxic and poison. They can’t say we’re funding corporate America but working Americans they’re on their own. They can’t say it.”  This has got nothing whatsoever to do with the ‘Chinese virus’ and Cuomo knows it.  What it has everything to do with is the willingness on the part of these left-wingers to provide all manner of outrageously generous social programs even to those in this country illegally, and union contracts that are completely over the top when it comes to benefits and outrageous pensions.

Taxpayers should not be made to be on the hook for the failed liberal policies carried out in states in which they do not reside.  That’s just nuts.  It’s those who choose to elect these spendthrift Democrats who need to be made to cover the costs generated by those whom they chose to elect.  Democrats, like Cuomo, as well as those who vote for them, seem to think that they should be able to flaunt federal law when it comes to such things as legalizing marijuana and providing sanctuary to those who are in this country illegally, and to refuse to hand criminal illegals over to I.C.E. and yet still be bailed out by the rest of us who strongly oppose such lunacy. 

Democrats like Cuomo seem to operate under the assumption that they should be able to spend everything they get from their own citizens plus all they can get from those taxpayers who not only don’t live in their state but would never want to.   And it’s whenever those who represent folks living outside states like New York, California or Illinois, to name just a few of the more screwed up states, bring up the point that these states need to work at living within their means they are accused of being  “mean-spirited.”   Cuomo now seems to be ratcheting up those accusations, now choosing to describe those not will willing to cover his debt as ‘toxic and poison!’

The government in New York spent twice as much as the government in Florida, $348 billion compared to $177 billion.  Inclusive of Medicaid, New York spent over $21,000 per person under the official poverty line in 2017, according to the National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO).  Meanwhile, Florida spent under $9,000. Excluding Medicaid, New York spent over $1,200, while Florida spent a negligible amount.  And yet, there is no clear evidence that blue state anti-poverty spending accomplished much.  From 2010 to 2018, the official poverty rate fell just 1.3 in New York and 2.8 in Florida.  And Florida has 2 million MORE people than does New York.

And it’s Democrats like Cuomo who chose to put politics above the health and wellbeing of their citizens by exploiting this most recent ‘crisis.’  For instance, how many millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted in covering demands made by the likes of Cuomo that they knew to be unnecessary?  How many field hospitals were constructed that went unused?  What was the cost of sending the USNS Comfort to New York City to treat only 182 patients?  And Cuomo is somehow seen as being one of the great ‘leaders’ on the Democrat side regarding this supposed crisis?  And yet, what would have been said of the president had he refused any of these demands? 

And we all need to keep in mind how it was that the Democrats first accused President Trump of calling the virus a “hoax.”  Then they called him a “racist” for halting incoming travel from China and shutting down the borders to stop the spread of the virus. They even withheld treatment proven to have a very high success rate in treating this virus.  The media claimed he wasn’t providing enough press briefings only to stop carrying them when they seemed to be making him more popular.  Then they attacked him for not taking questions after the briefings, questions that tended to sound more like accusations or were totally unrelated to the virus.    

Frankly, it’s time for a little tough love for these big liberal blue states like New York, Illinois and California.  They most assuredly are not deserving of being bailed out by the rest of us. Their wasteful programs are corrupt and downright immoral. These are also the states whose politicians and political apparatuses are corrupt and where voter fraud is the most rampant.  They should all be forced to live within their means and the federal government should very closely monitor the voting schemes that Democrats have come to rely on so very heavily.  President Trump needs to have a real heart to heart with politicians like Cuomo and just say no to more money.

And lastly, I think it worth mentioning Cuomo’s long history of directing some pretty outlandish statements at those who dare to disagree with his position on various issues.  This is the same guy who once said anyone who is pro-traditional marriage, pro-life or pro-guns has “no place in the state of New York.”  He’s also the guy who once said, in response to President Trump’s campaign catchphrase “Make America Great Again” that, “We're not going to make America great again. It was never that great.”  Such is the man who now wants those of us who played virtually no part in putting him into office to foot the bill for his gross incompetence and overspending.

ANDY CUOMO…ANOTHER DEMOCRAT CROOK WHO GETS A PASS…

Sadly, it would appear that what was once expected to be for Andy Cuomo's an obstacle free cruise to a second term as New York’s governor may have now hit a couple of snags. First being, the law professor Zephyr Teachout, Andy's Democrat primary opponent. Her liberal campaign seems to have gained some steam of late, and though she’s unlikely to beat him, a good showing could hurt Andy's presidential ambitions. God help us if he’s elected president.

In what was typical Cuomo fashion, it seems that Andy was a no-show at a debate on cable TV with Teachout, and he's been relatively quiet since allegations first hit that he personally interfered with his own anti-corruption commission. Of course Andy denies those allegations and because he doesn’t happen to be a Republican, our beloved state-controlled media once again neglects its responsibilities when it comes to challenging Andy regarding his denials.

And the other potential problem for our enterprising, and quite corrupt, presidential hopeful, is that he could very well end up with a running mate that he doesn't really want. In New York, candidates for governor and lieutenant governor run separately, and Columbia University law professor Tim Wu, Teachout's running mate in the primary, may actually beat Cuomo's running mate Kathy Hochul. Hochul, apparently comes with baggage.

That baggage being that as a former member of Congress, Hochul was, or at least claimed to be, a conservative, which could hurt her with liberal Democrat primary voters. She has sought to shed that label by garnering the support of ‘Communist Bill’ de Blasio. Wu gained The New York Times' endorsement. Wu has said, "Kathy Hochul's positions are really far out of line with the Democrats who vote in a Democratic primary." Adding, "She's in a really difficult position."

Now just a little side note on our good friend, the very corrupt, and patently dishonest, Andy Cuomo. To say that this guy is as crooked as they come, which makes just like his old man, would be I suppose and understatement. But unlike Bob McDonnell of Virginia, or Rick Perry, of Texas, both Republicans, prosecuted based on bogus claims of corruption/abuse of power, Cuomo’s actual corruption is allowed to go unprosecuted and simply swept under the rug.

HELL HATH NO FURY LIKE A DEMOCRAT SCORNED…OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT...

 

 

It sounds like it all started out rather innocently enough but evidently a fella by the name of Mike Fayette broke some rather important rules that I can only assume he didn't know even existed. That's always the danger one runs whenever dealing with liberals. You see, Mr. Fayette is, or was, an engineer at the New York State Transportation Department, and his little sleigh ride to Hell began with what, he must have thought at the time, was a harmless interview that he gave to a reporter from The Adirondack Daily Enterprise. In this interview, Mr. Fayette actually praised Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the transportation workers who had labored to repair roads and bridges washed out by Tropical Storm Irene back in 2011. No matter that he was offering praise, his supervisors said he had not been authorized to speak to the press, and before Mr. Fayette knew what hit him, they moved to fire him, but he chose to retire instead and left in February. And this story might have died right there, but for the rather bizarre reaction from the Cuomo administration to an article about the strange scenario that appeared on Wednesday of this week in The Daily Enterprise.

 

On Thursday, absolutely livid that some engineer from the Adirondacks was now being portrayed as yet another victim of Cuomo’s rather well known penchant for control, a top aide to the governor, some boob by the name of Howard B. Glaser, took to the airwaves to defend the honor of his boss. He did so by actually reading aloud Mr. Fayette’s disciplinary history, on the radio, describing him as a troubled employee who had previously been penalized for having an improper relationship with a subordinate, misusing his work e-mail to send sexually explicit messages and using his state-assigned vehicle for personal errands. "It is not the policy of this administration to terminate people solely for improper contact with the press," said Mr. Glaser, adding, "If that were the issue here, the only issue, there would not have been a termination." So, what, I guess we're to believe it was just all some strange coincidence? Needless to say, Mr. Fayette, who had worked for the state for 29 years, was stunned. Are we really expected to believe that after 29 years it was decided at this particular moment in time to fire this "troubled employee?" Sorry, I'm not buying it!

 

"It’s absolutely outrageous," Fayette said on Thursday. "The governor needs to say, ‘Hey, look, guys, you’re embarrassing me, you’re embarrassing the state, you’re going after this guy like he’s freaking killed somebody.’ " Mr. Fayette said he believed Mr. Glaser broke the law by disclosing his record. "If anything, someone should be investigating that clown," Mr. Fayette said. "You can’t do that. That is so over the line it’s not funny." He added, "He’s just daring me to hire an attorney and sue him." Glaser, acting all indignant and such, countered Fayette's threat to sue, by saying that all of the information he disclosed on WGDJ-AM, in Albany, had come from a document that was a public record. "Some in the press were breathless to fit this incident into a favored narrative about the Cuomo administration control of information," Mr. Glaser wrote in an e-mail. "But the facts turn out to be inconvenient to that tired story line. If reporters had taken the time to get the whole story, a much different picture would have emerged of a quirky but basically routine personnel matter." Well, he sure told them!

 

This rather idiotic case began back in August, when a reporter at the newspaper, writing a series of articles on the first anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene, asked to speak to Transportation Department workers. And when a spokeswoman for the department chose not to respond, according to the newspaper, the reporter contacted Mr. Fayette, who was the agency’s resident engineer in Essex County. Mr. Fayette, 55, had grown up on a farm near the Canadian border and had worked for the department since college graduation. He agreed to an interview, saying he feared the newspaper would otherwise accuse the department of "blowing off" its request. The resulting article, which was published on Aug. 30 with the headline "D.O.T. Engineer on Irene: ‘We Were Up for It,’ " suggested that the department had worked valiantly after the storm. Six days later, Mr. Fayette received a letter ordering him to attend a "disciplinary interrogation" in Albany, which he said he later found out was a result of the interview he had granted. He was soon told that the state would seek to fire him but he later decided to simply retire instead.

 

Cuomo administration officials said no one in the governor’s office had known about Mr. Fayette’s case until it was reported in the paper. Right, and if you believe that I've got some ocean front property in Arizona I can sell you dirt cheap. As for the Transportation Department, whose silence in response to an inquiry from a reporter set off this rather idiotic chain of events? Its communications office did not respond to a request for comment on Thursday. This is the way liberal psychotics like Cuomo operate. Through no fault of his own this guy Fayette was simply made an example of so that others will think twice about speaking before being "authorized" to do so. And it's hard to question his motives, he saw agreeing to the interview as way to avoid any perception that his department was trying to dodge the press. And what does he get for his efforts? He gets to be unemployed. Ah well, like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. The bottom line here is that Cuomo's a dick and those who work for him are dicks. He's got New York as screwed up as Barry as has the rest of the country. Therefore, I guess, he thinks of himself as deserving to be president.

For those of you who do not live in the Empire State, you should consider yourself as being very fortunate that you don't. And now there’s yet one more reason, as if anymore were needed, to be thankful for that fact. That reason of which I speak comes to us in the form of some information that there are now negotiations being conducted by Andy Cuomo, that stellar governor of New York and, God forbid, a potential presidential candidate in 2016, that could result in a deal to give New York state some of the toughest gun control laws in the country Cuomo, at least according to those faceless sources supposedly in the know, on Tuesday, is hoping to announce the plan Wednesday during his State of the State speech in Albany. It’s also said that Andy hopes to jump-start the 2013 legislative session with a big deal that could dramatically alter gun control laws across his state.

 

Other sources that are said to be in "high places," have also said that Andy has been involved in some rather intense negotiations with both Assembly and Senate leaders for a package of gun control laws that, according to these same sources, would be a dramatic response to what Democrats everywhere described as a rabid increase of gun violence that they love to portray as besetting the nation. And as always they reference to the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Conn. "It’s a very divisive topic," Andy said on Wednesday. "There’s a lot of energy on both sides. Some people are vehemently against’ some people think we’re out of our minds for not passing it." Sources say that the governor and lawmakers are negotiating furiously in the hope that Andy can announce a deal during his speech Wednesday. So something that we're supposed to believe has as it's purpose the making of people safer, theoretically, is really all about politics.

 

More of these sources, that shall go unnamed, have said that Andy’s little package is expected to include: 1) New restrictions on supposed assault style weapons, 2) Stiffer penalties for using a gun to commit a crime and 3) New limits on the number of bullets in a gun magazine. "Gun control is highly political, politically contentious situation. It is polarizing," Andy said. Well of course it's polarizing, you freaking moron. People see corrupt, power-hungry Democrats, like little Andy here, trying to rob from them yet another of their God given rights as defined by our Constitution. Andy is nothing more than another Democrat seeking to strike while the iron is hot. He sees this as being a prime opportunity and it matters not if any of what he is trying to do has any basis in fact. As with everything else, whenever dealing with scum like Cuomo, the numbers have been manipulated to give the impression that so-called gun violence is out of control in this country. And that’s just NOT the case!

 

Exhibiting what, apparently, is the low level of intelligence possessed by some residents of the Empire State, a mother recently interviewed regarding Cuomo's ongoing negotiations said, "There’s just too many incidents that are happening that you think could be avoided if there were stronger regulations about it." Adding when asked if her children’s safety is her motivation, "Absolutely, I mean you can’t even send them to school now. Now my kids have police in front of their school. I mean you wonder how far it’s going to go." Another local resident said, "I think it’s necessary with everything that’s happening." Going on to say, "With the recent things that have been going on it does make you think that things to be happening, so you have to be extra cautious." Such idiotic comments reveal the severe lack of knowledge regarding the fact that Barry, and maybe even Cuomo, simply refuse to enforce many of the gun laws already on the books. They might want to ask, why that is.

 

Andy’s move comes around the same time as his fellow Democrat loon, Mayor Michael "Mr. Mom" Bloomberg’s, Mayors Against Gun Violence released a new, and blatantly dishonest, commercial to push for federal action. It features Roxanna Green, the mother of Christina Taylor-Green, who was killed two years ago Tuesday in the Tucson, Ariz.. "How many more children must die before Washington does something to end our gun violence problem?" Roxanna Green asks during the ad. Designed, I guess, to tug on our heart strings and to make more willing to cough up our guns, this idiotic ad does nothing more but to reveal the self-serving motives behind the current push to gut the Second Amendment. What she ought to be doing, if she genuinely cared about the issue, is asking Barry "Almighty," and any number of other Democrats, why it is, exactly, that enforcement of many guns laws already in place is actually down 40 percent since Barry first strutted his cool self into the Oval Office.

 

Now being a former resident of New York, having spent the first 25 years of y life there, I feel quite comfortable in offering up a critique of a state that has been pretty much screwed up for as long as I can remember. I remember my dad saying that things would have been much better if only there had been some way to separate New York City from the rest of the state. Anyway, these days, and for any number of reasons, I’m glad I no longer live there, although all of my immediate family still does. So while this rabid insanity we see being exhibited by Andy Cuomo will not effect me directly, it could ultimately come to impact my life indirectly. Because all of this furor and hysteria now being whipped up by sleazy political opportunists, of which Andy is most definitely one, has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with ‘protecting’ people from supposed madmen with guns. It has everything to do with power. The acquisition of raw political power over the people, and if successful, will ultimately place many more lives in danger.

 

Look, the bottom line here is that this douche bag, Cuomo, is eager to take advantage of what slimes like him view as being just another crisis to be exploited. Quite frankly, the only reason that he even is able to find himself in his present position is because piece-of-shit daddy was, and may still be for all I know, a big shot in the Democrat Party. In all honesty he couldn't legislate his way out of a wet paper bag, and has absolutely no business running the State of New York. And this is not the fist time that he's tried to disarm the people. Back when he was ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton's HUD Secretary, he wanted to prohibit some of the poorest and most vulnerable among us, those trapped by poverty in 'Gub'mint Projects' with some of the worst scum the "Progressives" have spawned, from owning guns to protect themselves. See, according to the Democrats, if you feed from the trough, you are made to give up your "Natural Rights." There is simply no choice to be made, or that would be permitted for that matter.
