As hard as it might be to believe when looking at the Democrat Party of today, I do remember a time when there actually was breed of politician commonly referred to as a ‘moderate Democrat.’ While the party, as a whole, has always tilted more than a little to the left, there were those among the rest who did, on occasion, actually make sense. But that was ‘a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.’ Slowly but surely those folks left political office either by retirement or by that natural course of events involved. And as they left, they were replaced by those who were increasingly hardcore leftists, until today when today ‘moderate Democrat’ is now extinct.
But that
hasn’t prevented certain members of the Democrat Party from pretending to be
more rational than most in their party, but it’s all just a charade. Two names
almost immediately come to mind, Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania and Andy Beshear
of Kentucky. And while both men would have us all believe that they far less
extreme than many in their party are, make no mistake both of these me are
doing nothing more than to pretend. And while they do their best to sound more
rational than they really are, in reality they’re no different than the rest of
the leftwing loons that call the Democrat Party home. It’s all nothing more
than a little game of make believe.
Anyway,
it’s Beshear, and the idiotic claims he made during Monday’s broadcast of ‘CNN
News Central,’ that’s the subject here. Co-host Kate Bolduan asked Beshear,
“Once he leaves there, what are you going to do if and when a massive ICE
operation is launched in Kentucky?” Beshear answered, “Well, the first thing we
have to do is demand that they pull these officers out of all of our cities and
that they fully retrain every single one of them.” Retrained on what, exactly? How
to look the other way when people break the law when it involves a leftwing issue?
How about Democrat politicians stop encouraging their nutjob supporters to
attack law enforcement?
Anyway,
he went on to add, “They are operating with aggressive tactics that are not
appropriate for law enforcement. They are not following our Constitution and
giving people their rights. The idea that they have a memo that says they can
just barge into someone’s house without a real warrant is — I guess they missed
the day they taught law in law school. It’s incredibly concerning. And so, what
they need to do is a full-on re-training. The way they’re going about this, no
law enforcement agency in the country would do it, because it not only puts the
individual maybe they’re trying to apprehend in more danger than they should be
in, but it puts everyone else in danger."
First of
all, Andy, ICE officers do not go to law school. And second, Andy, listening to
any Democrat whine about the safety of those breaking the law really pisses me
off. Anyway, from there Beshear droned on saying, “Think about everyone around
each of these operations. It’s putting each and every one of our communities in
a place where law enforcements supposed to protect us, and this group is doing
the exact opposite. They’re putting us in harm’s way.” Now of course, CNN
wouldn’t dare challenge his credentials for making such a claim. If Beshear actually
is a lawyer then he needs to be retrained on both immigration law and the Constitution.
Now
there’s a shocker, another failed lawyer turned politician giving ‘advice’ on
how to solve a problem created by those like him. The very same guy who sent
police to arrest people going to church on Easter during the ‘Chinese virus’ and
having their license plate numbers taken down so they could be issued with
parking offenses now thinks using police is oppressive. Beshear is just another
incompetent boob trying to work is way into another elected office now that he
can’t run for governor again. Perhaps a better idea would be for Democrats
start telling their insane foot soldiers to stop interfering with law
enforcement as they go about trying to do their job.
If
Beshear truly is serious about running for the presidency then I think he would
be far better served by keeping his idiotic comments/recommendations to
himself. Actually, I have a better idea. How about every Democrat member of
Congress be retrained in their duties and responsibilities and not allowed back
on the job until they successfully pass a test on the U.S. Constitution and
become fluent on the Bill of Rights. That and prove a basic knowledge of both economics
and simple biology so they would then be able to explain what it is that define
a woman. Perhaps old Andy, here, should stay in what is clearly his very narrow
lane of supposed expertise.
Beshear
is yet another example of how giving idiotic advice is all pretty easy and yet requires
very little effort and even less actual expertise. Perhaps old Andy could have
perhaps recommended how the problem could be easily solved by arresting these
out-of-control rioters. And how about his fellow Democrats perhaps stop fanning
the flames against ICE courtesy of the ‘fake news’ media. And another obvious failure
of the Democrats is their illegal ‘sanctuary’ garbage. The federal government, and
not local or state politicians, controls who it is that’s allowed to enter the
country. And Democrats do not have the option of only enforcing those laws they
like.
Why do
those like Beshear have zero care, concern, compassion, and/or commitment to
the safety, security, prosperity, and well-being of the American people? That’s
obvious. Beshear just gave voice to the moral indifference exhibited by these Democrat
Party politicians, propagandists, and partisans who demand that criminal
illegal alien robbers, rapists, pedophiles, organized crime gang members,
murderers, domestic terrorists and drug runners be permitted “sanctuary” in their
communities while whining about how federal law enforcement agents performing
their legitimate and sworn duties of arresting criminal illegal immigrants are
the true bad guys.
Why do voters in Kentucky,
or any other state, choose to vote for Democrat Party candidates who tell them
up front, out loud, and to their faces that they really don’t give a flying
fart about the American people while at the same time fanatically, and sometimes
violently, protect criminal illegal alien robbers, rapists, pedophiles,
organized crime gang members, murderers, domestic terrorists and drug runners
from apprehension and arrest? ICE is not to blame here. These protesters are!
These protesters need to be informed that one breaks the law, one gets arrested
by law enforcement. So, shame on you, Governor Beshear! You sir, are a pathetic
loser!
