WHEN IS IT OK TO PAY A WOMAN LESS THAN YOU PAY A MAN? WHEN YOU’RE A DEMOCRAT…

So is it like some old Native American custom to pay women less than you pay men?  Or, does choosing to do such a thing have much more to do with something that we are all far more familiar with?  That being, of course, that this is yet another instance where we have some scumbag Democrat saying, “Do as I say, not as I do.”  Now in case you’re wondering what it is that I’m going to be talking about here, it was just a couple of days ago that every single female Democrat in the Senate celebrated "Equal Pay Day," that ridiculous, fake feminist day of protest when liberals pretend that women really do have it hard in America.

National Review does a great job of refuting their bogus claims:  “According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2014 the average full-time working woman earned 83 percent of what the average full-time working man earned. That’s up from about 80 percent in 2004...

But the far bigger flaw in Equal Pay Day logic is the assumption that the Department of Labor statistic showing the differences in men and women’s average earnings is evidence of discrimination’s role in our economy. The holiday’s champions use the mantras “equal pay for equal work” and “83 cents on the dollar” to imply that women are regularly being paid less than men for the same work. That’s just not what the statistic tells us. The Department of Labor doesn’t compare two co-workers, one male and one female, but rather simply tallies up the median earnings of all full-time working women and all full-time working men and compares the two.”

And you now, what none of these whiners and complainers bother to take into account is the fact “that the average man working full-time spends two hours more each week on the job than does the average full-time working woman.”  So what they are really saying here, that men maybe shouldn't get paid for those extra two hours per day?  I mean we are once again delving pretty deeply into yet another example of leftwing lunacy.  And at what point is there going to be someone finally willing to throw liberal hypocrisy flag.  Why aren’t the Democrats ever forced to play by the same rules that they force the rest of us to play by?

Nevertheless, Democrats love to spout all manner of misleading statistics as they relate to the nation's women in order to create antipathy in them toward men, Republicans, their employers, and, pretty much, the world in general.  And it was the two esteemed senators from California who took time out of their schedule to acknowledge the day on Twitter.  Senator Feinstein Tweeted, “California has enacted the country’s most progressive fair pay law. Congress must follow our lead.”  And Senator Harris also Tweeted, “While more education can help increase women’s earnings, it still doesn’t close the gender pay gap.”

Wait a minute, did I say every female Democrat did?  Come to think of it I’m mistaken because, apparently, there was one rather glaring exception.  That of course being the senior senator from Massachusetts, Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren, who didn't say a word about it for the first time since she was elected to the office.  Now you may ask why was it that she was suddenly silent?  Well I'm no mind reader, but it might have something to do with the fact that it was recently revealed that the women in her office get paid a mere $.71 for every $1 a man earns, or roughly $20,000 a year less.  Ouch!  That could be really embarrassing for her.  Just sayin’.

It’s The Free Beacon that reported it this way, saying, “Warren has used Equal Pay Day, which fell on April 4 this year, in years past as an opportunity to speak out on the gender pay gap. Last year she took to the Senate floor to call Equal Pay Day a "national day of embarrassment" and pledged to continue her "fight" until the pay gap was erased. She gave similar statements on Equal Pay Day in 2015, 2014, and 2013, her first year in the Senate.”  Might the lack of her being so vocal about an issue we all thought was near and dear to her heart perhaps be nothing more than an attempt to stay below the radar now that we know she is a major offender.

Sometimes politics hands you moments of delicious hilarity that are just too fleeting to properly appreciate, but this is a story that keeps on giving.  Like most of the grievances put forth by the left there’s simply no factual basis for it. Personally, I’m thinking that all men should quit work and let the women carry the load.  That way men could spend much more of their time fishing, golfing, and drinking beer, and these political hack women could shut their big mouths about how everything is just so darned unequal.  Or, if we can have a day without women how about we a day maybe we could have a day without men and see which has the bigger impact.

But Warren is far from being the only female Democrat to tends to pay her female staff members less than she pays the men who work for her.  After all, it was she who was supposed to have won the last election, none other than Hitlery Clinton, who was also found to be paying the ladies less than she was paying the men on her staff.  And then as we all know how it was that Barry was paying his female staffers less than the men.  So it would seem that as long as one is a Democrat there’s no real equal pay issue that one has to be concerned about, it’s only a rule that everyone else needs to be made to abide by.  Just one more thing on a long list of very many.
