IT’S BETTER TO OFFER NO EXCUSE THAN A BAD ONE…

So what’s a failed president to say when sitting down for one of his final interviews, puff or not, in an effort to explain how it is that he will be leaving his party essentially in tatters?  It is while doing my best to contain myself that I say Barry “Almighty”, the second most powerful human being in the world, has just 50 days left in office.  He’s getting ready to turn over the keys to the White House to a man that he very clearly despises.  He just watched the voters reject everything that he stands for. They’re finally getting back at him for everything he’s done to them over the past eight years.  His precious legacy lays before him in ruins.  And I LOVE it!

And what better way to wallow in his misery than to sit down with the disgraced publisher of the discredited publication, Rolling Stone magazine?  The fact is that Democrats were decimated on Barry’s watch, losing dozens of House seats, nine Senate seats, more than a dozen governorships and more than 1,000 seats in state legislatures, and what was the driving force behind such a politically cataclysmic event?  Well, if you listen to our ‘Dear Beloved Leader’, Barack Hussein Obama, it's all because Fox News is being played in "every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country."  Does he even realize how stupid he sounds?

Anyway, it was in a joke of a fluff-piece for Rolling Stone, that publisher Jann Wenner (of bogus UVA gang-rape story fame) asked our soon-to-be ex-president if he believed America "is still a progressive country?"  Barry insinuated that it was once, because he won the white working class vote in 2008 and 2012, respectively, but that all that must have changed with the advent of Fox News in bars:

Barry said, “I think that nothing is determined, but that the number of people who have a strong belief in a fair, just, equal, inclusive America is the majority and is growing.  And part of the challenge, though, that we do have, and this is something that I’ve been chewing on for a while now, is that there is a cohort of working-class white voters that voted for me in sizable numbers, but that we’ve had trouble getting to vote for Democrats in midterm elections. In this election, [they] turned out in huge numbers for Trump. And I think that part of it has to do with our inability, our failure, to reach those voters effectively. Part of it is Fox News in every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country, but part of it is also Democrats not working at a grassroots level, being in there, showing up, making arguments.”

And then, after praising Rolling Stone as an outlet that does great "journalism", Barry, without a shred of irony, began lamenting the existence of alternative news outlets and even hinted at subsidizing or otherwise "propping up" mainstream media outlets as a way to challenge them:

Barry went on to say, “The challenge is people are getting a hundred different visions of the world from a hundred different outlets or a thousand different outlets, and that is ramping up divisions. It's making people exaggerate or say what's most controversial or peddling in the most vicious of insults or lies, because that attracts eyeballs. And if we are gonna solve that, it's not going to be simply an issue of subsidizing or propping up traditional media; it's going to be figuring out how do we organize in a virtual world the same way we organize in the physical world.”

That’s right, Barry!  None of what’s happened to your party had anything to do with you, or your highly destructive policies.  But you know, when it comes to “ramping up divisions” or people exaggerating or saying the most controversial of things or peddling the most vicious of insults or lies, who does that better than any Democrat? Including Barry himself?  So what’s he really saying here?  And who in their right mind thinks it’s a good idea for the government to get involved in “subsidizing or propping up ‘traditional media’,” especially when that “traditional media” is nothing but the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.  I mean where is it that we’re living?

And as Michelle Malkin so astutely noted in her response on Twitter, the Left has a monopoly on just about any and every other platform.  It's laughable that those on the Left can’t tolerate even one dissenting outlet (and Fox is hardly conservative) amidst their sea of music, film, television (drama series, sitcoms and even children's programming), all mainstream media outlets, public broadcast and radio and academia.  And let’s face it, if Fox News had the level of power that Barry claims, he would never have been elected, let alone re-elected.  Just how many viewers does he think Fox News has?  Even at its best it’s only a little over 2 million.

I’d be curious to know who it was that might have verified whether or not Fox News was actually playing in “every bar and restaurant.”  Because oddly enough, it’s more often than not whenever I’m out in a restaurant or bar, or find myself in an airport, that it’s a pretty rare event that something other than the Commie News Network (CNN) is on, and on every television within sight.  So if Barry could please enlighten us as to where all of these Fox News bars and restaurants might be located, because I would gladly visit them whenever the opportunity might present itself.  His argument here is more than just a little ludicrous.

But let’s be honest here folks since Barry, again, couldn’t quite bring himself to be.  After all, I don’t suppose we could actually expect him to tell the truth about why Democrats had their asses handed to them in every election during his presidency.  It couldn't be because of his failed leadership of the last eight years, or the fact that the Party has shifted further to the Left than at any other time in our history.  Nor could it be because Democrats went far out of their way to prop up she who was the most corrupt candidate to ever run for president, or that the Party's policies have done next to nothing to ensure that our nation remains safe and prosperous.

And it couldn’t possibly have been because there are no jobs, or because of the most anemic economic recovery since World War II, or because of the millions of people who are now made to rely on the government while the government takes on trillions more in debt, of the fact that we have no border security and the fact that there has been a continuing loss of our freedoms.  Nope, it was none of those things, it had to be because of Fox News.  Barry’s explanations for political loss touch on everything but the truth, that it it’s his fault.  Hence he has been using Fox News as his punching bag for years now.  Because it must not be seen as being his fault.

And who knows, maybe Barry and his fellow Democrats will have learned something from all this.  Most likely though, they’ll just keep yelling about racism and therefore keep losing elections.  Which is fine with me.  It’s all fake news anyway when you don’t hear what it is that you want to hear.  And frankly, I thought Fox News, except for Hannity, was just as anti-Trump and pro-Hitlery as was every other news channel.  In fact, on election night after they came to the realization that Hitlery had no pathway to victory, it was almost like a funeral on Fox.  In fact, I thought poor old Juan Williams was going to break down in tears.  It was absolutely great!

Our Narcissist-in-Chief had to find someone or something to blame for what was the rather obvious rejection of his radical ideology.  He can never, and will never, accept that he and his leftwing policies are what’s behind his party’s humiliating defeat by the American People.  A narcissist is not mentally or emotionally capable of accepting that he has been rejected by clear thinking rational people. Denial is an ugly thing.  Barry just can’t bring himself to admit that people didn’t care for his attempt to “fundamentally transform” the United States, or that they feared Hitlery would have only picked the process up where Barry had left off.
