REP. LOUIE GOHMERT MAKES EXCELLENT POINT ABOUT OUR INEPT FOREIGN POLICY WHEN SPEAKING ABOUT THE EVENTS IN LIBYA...

I gotta tell ya I like this guy, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas). He appears to one of the few willing to take a shot, at Barry “Almighty’s” rather inept and haphazard way of going about the carrying out of this nation’s foreign policy and he did so in what was a very impassioned speech on the House floor Wednesday. He proceeded to slam the administration’s rather lackluster response to the killing of four of our fellow Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, by radical Islamic thugs during an attack on the U.S. embassy in Libya. After paying tribute to Mr. Stevens, Rep. Gohmert felt it compelled, and rightfully so because obviously someone needs to, to lecture the current administration on what is its constitutional duty to protect the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. But I think we all know how it is that Barry feels about our Constitution. Mr. Gohmert said, “It does not help when an administration in response to American attacks on American Soil and American individuals, the administration ends up asking Americans to give up their First Amendment rights for which our service members are fighting,” He went on to say, “It doesn’t help when a general asks an American to give up your First Amendment rights rather than proclaiming, ‘We’re the United States military, you have attacked our country, you have attacked our brothers and sisters, and you will pay for that.’”

But that’s not how the federal government chose to respond to the crisis, he explained. After a group of murdering Islamists thugs tore apart an American flag at a U.S. consulate in Cairo, the embassy released a statement ‘apologizing’ for people in America that may have hurt the “religious feelings” of poor ‘peace loving’ Muslims everywhere. “It’s OK to burn a Bible, that’s OK,” Gohmert said, mocking the current administration. “OK to burn a flag, OK, that’s all right,” he continued. “But just, you know, for heaven‘s sake don’t say anything that might offend someone of the Islamic religion.” Gohmert said he doesn’t encourage anyone to offend Muslims but added that “we should defend ourselves against radical Islamists that want to annihilate this country and destroy our way of life.” Barry has failed thus far to seriously address the threat of radical Islam, according to Gohmert. While several U.S. officials and various news reports initially insisted the attacks on the embassy in Libya were because of some anti-Muslim YouTube clip, Gohmert suggested the attack was coordinated and planned to occur on Sept. 11, using the video as a cover to carry out the assault. To back up his claim, he cited a Fox News report. But according to that rag, The New York Times, the U.S. government is now supposedly investigating whether the attack was indeed planned in advance. Now don’t that just give you a warm and fuzzy?

The Texas congressman also criticized Barry for declining an invitation from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet when he is in the United States. But realizing, as we all should by now, the deep loathing that Barry has for both Israel and Netanyahu, this should come as no surprise. He also suggested that Barry squeeze him into his schedule when he’s not busy playing golf or holding fundraisers. “We see people in the Middle East begin to have dreams of new Ottoman Empire where everyone will be subjected to some of what we've seen happen in those countries where we helped bring about an Arab Spring that’s turned into a Winter nightmare,” he said. “This is not a time to play petty personal games, to snub leaders of friends, of allies, even when you disagree with them for heaven’s sake.” He went on: “Take a little time from a fundraiser, take a little time that you don’t go to the golf course and meet with the leader of a country that sees hatred for its people, anti-semitism, the racism, the bigotry growing around the world, who is scared for its own existence, who can‘t be sure that we’re going to be there with them because of the actions of this administration.” “I mean, it is an inconvenient thing to have to be president when you really are best at running for office,” he said. Mr. Gohmert hit the nail on the head. Barry, as far as actually 'being' president, has been, and continues to be, pretty much useless.

Ok, now after taking everything into consideration here, and what many of you old enough may remember, I think what we have here is a case of déjà vu all over again. The similarities between the administrations of Barry and Jimmy “The BoneHead” Carter are rather striking. There are parallels between Carter with Iran, and Barry now with Egypt. And we are once again seeing how a perception of weakness, can be very dangerous. Now back in 1980 we were smart enough to recognize that we needed to dump Carter and bring in someone new, but I fear that we are seriously contemplating doing something different this time around. To those actually thinking about voting for Barry, except for blacks, of course, because the future just doesn't seem to matter all that much to them, I ask that you think about your kids and world that Barry has in mind for them. Is that really what you want for your children? Really? Because that would be a very dark, dangerous and desolate world, and would put your children in the position of facing a daily struggle just to survive. If we do not come to our senses in time, and actually do put back into office a man so determined to destroy this country, any prospects for continuing the 'American Dream' being whipped out with it being replaced by an 'American Nightmare.' I have a very difficult time believing that there actually enough people out there who are willing to sentence their children to such a Barry created living Hell. But who knows, there just might be.
